Our people are exceptionally skilled. In our experience base, we have built components that meet service requirements for the space program, tactical military weapons and commercial shooting sports products. We surrounded ourselves with bright engineers and looked at new concepts.

With a leading edge approach, we spent years studying the optimal methods to propel an arrow from a crossbow efficiently.

Chuck and Baron officially founded KodaBow in 2009. Work began years earlier. There was no large celebration on day number one and it was a low profile event. It was all about making crossbows.

Kodabow Taps Laura Burgess Marketing To Handle Public And Media Relations

PORTSMOUTH, NH –-(AmmoLand.com)- Laura Burgess Marketing, public relations and marketing communications for the law enforcement, tactical, military and shooting sports markets, has been engaged to handle public and media relations for KodaBow Inc., a new crossbow manufacturing company headquartered in Mountville, Pennsylvania (Lancaster County).

KodaBow is commencing operations in January 2010 with an initial product platform built on solid rail crossbow designs and aerospace level machined components. All major components are manufactured in Pennsylvania including limbs, a proprietary patent protected trigger group that provides high accuracy features and includes dry fire protection, ergonomic safety and a user–friendly decocking mechanism.

Other key features are military grade accessory components, a high energy storage limb design and innovative Picatinny rail configuration. KodaBow has a strategic relationship with MicroFacture LLC also located in Mountville. MicroFacture (www.microfacture.com) (Shot Show Booth #228) is a high precision CNC parts manufacturer & assembler, supporting military, aerospace and medical customer segments delivering components used in a range of applications from space communications to leading edge military tactical weapons systems.
