title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- LaserLyte builds on the success of the LaserLyte Ruger LCP Side Mount Laser (CK-AMF), made available earlier this year, by introducing the CK-AMF9 for the Ruger LC9.

Made just as streamlined and programmable as the CK-AMF version, yet slightly larger, the CK-AMF9 design fits not only the Ruger LC9 but the Kel-Tec PF9 pistol, as well.

It is easy to mount on the gun by simply pushing out and replacing the stock frame pins with the new threaded pins (included). Mount the CK-AMF9 to these pins with the included screw. Then push the er gonomic activation button with the index finger and the laser is on target. The programmable laser features a pulse or constant on mode and also has an auto-off function to prevent an unwanted battery drain. An added benefit to the CK-AMF9 is that the laser actually helps to provide safer trigger control by acting as a finger guide without blocking the laser beam. The smooth, no-snag design of the laser allows the pistol to easily holster in any available nylon or leather pocket holster on the market.

Compact, lightweight and easy-to-use, the LaserLyte CK-AMF9 gives you the edge in close quarter situations for only $99.95, a price far lower than the competition, but far superior in quality. class="wp-caption-text">SlammerHi

Black Rock, Arkansas --(Ammoland.com)- Crossbow hunting for deer and other big game is spreading across the continent.

The northeast region of the United States is establishing deer seasons for crossbows where they have never been allowed before. Even in the western states of Montana and Utah crossbow seasons have been established.

The thousands of hunters who have made the transition to the crossbow and those who will have found that sighting in a crossbow can be a lengthy, time consuming process, but there is help available right now. The X-Bow Laser Bore Sighter by Slammer Hunting Innovations has made the sighting in process quick and simple.

The X-Bow Laser Bore Sighter follows the principles of sighting in with a laser bore sighter for a rifle, but it is in the design of a crossbow arrow with a finely tuned laser which is calibrated to the inside of the arrow shaft. The nock of the arrow is also the switch to activate the laser which is powered by four small batteries located inside the shaft.

The sight in process is best done with the crossbow in a gun vise or similar devise and set up seven (7) yards from the target. Simply slide the laser devise under the string of the crossbow exactly as you would an arrow. Turning the laser on will project a laser dot on the target. Adjust the vise holding the crossbow to center the laser dot in the center of the bull’s eye, then remove and turn off the X-Bow Laser Boresighter at this point.

Then adjust the windage and elevation of the scope or red dot sight to the exact point in the center of the bull’s eye to correlate where the laser dot was located. At this point, the crossbow will be dead on at twenty (20) yards. The whole process takes only a few minutes and your first arrow out of the your crossbow will be in the bull’s eye at twenty yards.

For more information on the X-Bow Laser Bore Sighter go to www.slammerhi.com

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE CROSSBOW LASER BORESIGHTER BOLT

1. Remove the nock battery cap by turning counter clockwise. Install four L626 batteries with the positive (flat side) facing outwards. Replace the nock battery cap and tighten clockwise until laser turns on (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN). Your laser boresighter is now ready to use. Loosen the battery cap slightly to turn off.

2. Place crossbow in gun vise and secure into shooting position, be sure to tighten vise clamps.

3. Place target at 7-yards distance.

4. DO NOT COCK CROSSBOW. Turn on laser boresighter bolt and place UNDER BOWSTRING like you would a bolt to fire, sliding the bolt all the way back to the trigger mechanism.

5. Notice where the laser is projecting on your target and adjust the shooting vise to center the alser dot onto the target bull’s-eye. After centering the laser onto the bull’s- eye, turn off and remove the laser boresighter. Adjust your scope or other sighting device to the center of the bulls-eye.

6. Place target at 20 yards, load and fire crossbow bolt at target (3 shots are recommended to insure your grouping properly). Fine tune windage and elevation settings to center into target bull’s-eye (if needed)

7. 20 YARD REFERENCE POINT. Once you’re shooting tight groups into the bull’s- eye, replace target with fresh one and center scope crosshairs into the target bull’s- eye. WITHOUT COCKING CROSSBOW turn on crossbow laser boresighter and LOAD UNDER BOWSTRING. Notice where the laser projects on the target and draw a circle around the laser dot. You now have a 20 yard reference point if you ever need to change your crossbow scope.

8. CALCULATING ARROW DROP. If you measure the distance from the laser dot circle to the target bullseye you can calculate the drop of your crossbow bolt at 20 yards!

9. SIGHT CARD METHOD. Once your sighted in you can place a fresh target or sight card at 7- yards and center your scope crosshairs into the target bull’s-eye and place the laser boresighter on your crossbow and circle where the laser projects on the target. You now have a future reference point to change out or re-sight your crossbow scope at 7-yards!

10. CHECKING SIGHTS PRIOR TO THE HUNT. Using the sight card method again, you can set up your fresh target at 10 feet and center your scope crosshairs into the bull’s-eye and load the boresighter and again circle where the laser projects on the target. You now have a method of checking your sights prior to the hunt!

Contact: slammer hunting innovations, Black Rock, Arkansas (870) 809-0822 or Ammoland.com)- Until now, the 1911 owner who wanted both custom grips and a laser for their 1911 was out of luck.

Crimson Trace, the industry leader in the laser sight arena has solved this problem by integrating their patented, grip activated laser with a range of high-end stock materials, such as G10 and stabilized laminated wood, bringing both artistry and rugged engineering to John Browning’s classic design.

The Master Series starts with two solid stock blanks which are then CNC machined to tolerances of 0.002” to form the grip profile and texture. Skilled technicians carefully set the laser sighting module and instinctive activation switch package into the grips by hand and the entire package can then be easily installed by the end user. Simply remove the original grip screws, pull off the old grips and snap on the Master Series replacements.

Through the use of an ultra-compact diode module and inspired design, the Master Series is compatible with any ambidextrous safety on the market and features a new master on/off switch. This combination means that popular bobtail versions of the government and commander size pistols now also have Lasergrip option, allowing this easily-carried defensive handgun to benefit fully from the advantages of laser sights.

The shooting industry got a sneak peek at the Master Series grips at SHOT show in January and feedback from dealers, trainers and professional shooters was incorporated in to the final design. These newest grips will be available in early May, with an expected MSRP of $360.

About:

Crimson Trace is the world’s only manufacturer of grip-integrated laser sighting systems. title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Kahr Arms is proud to introduce two of their most popular model handguns, the P380 and the PM45, now available with Crimson Trace Laserguards directly from the factory.

The KP3833L and PM4543L will come with the popular Crimson Trace Laserguard model LG- 437 straight from the Kahr factory. The Laserguard design is the most compact, instinctively activated, user-adjustable laser sighting system available. Your KP3833L or PM4543L comes complete with allen wrench for adjustment, sight cleaners, batteries, and Crimson Trace decal.

The Model LG-437 uses either two #357 silver oxide batteries or a single 1/3N 3-volt lithium battery. These small batteries allow the Laserguard to be unobtrusive yet powerful enough to provide the brightness. The LG-437 uses the smaller 3.3mm diameter laser diode, which reduces the overall size of the laser diode housing.

The LG-437 has both windage and elevation adjustments for shooters to adjust the laser for a perfect hit.

The .380 ACP caliber KP3833L has a 2.5” premium Lothar Walther match grade barrel, black polymer frame, matte stainless steel slide, 6+1 magazine capacity, and comes with two 6-round stainless steel magazines. The .45 ACP caliber PM4543L, with a 3.14” barrel, Lothar Walther match grade polygonal rifling and 1-16.38 right hand twist, has 5+1 magazine capacity and comes with two 5-round stainless steel magazines. It also has a black polymer frame with a matte stainless steel slide.

Come by booth #15951 at SHOT Show for a first look. Holsters for the KP3833L and PM4543L will be available in January 2011 at www.kahr.com.

Laserguards are made in the United States of America. Crimson Trace is the world’s only manufacturer of grip-integrated laser sighting systems. Police, all branches of the U.S. Military and responsible citizens worldwide use patented Crimson Trace products.
<div

If left on for five minutes, the unit begins to display a unique flash for one minute, indicating to the user that the unit will automatically shut off soon.
<div

Press the unit’s button at any time to reset this feature for five more minutes.

The Subcompact V3 easily mounts with a hex drive crossbar screw and features windage adjustment, elevation adjustment and programmable constant on and pulse modes. Additionally, the unit is ideal for left- and -right handed shooters with two separate activation buttons located on the backside of the laser. Not only will the laser fit nicely on the smallest of sub-compact railed pistols, it works great on modern rifles as well.

The Subcompact V3 laser is powered by four 377 batteries that provide five hours in constant on mode and ten hours in pulse mode of normal usage. Normal usage is defined as one minute on and one minute off. This test mimics actual usage where the unit is turned on and off and the battery is given time to automatically regenerate.

LaserLyte Subcompact V3 Specifications

Product Number: FSL-3

Compatible Firearms: Any firearm with a minimum of .70 inches rail space

Laser module: 650nm

Laser modes: constant on, pulse and auto-off

Batteries: 4-377 batteries

Battery Life: 5 hours constant on (actual usage),

10 hours pulse (actual usage)

Material: 6061 T6 aluminum

Weight: .50 oz., 15 g

Length/Width/Height: .92 in./.69 in./.20 in., 23.37 mm/ 17.53 mm/ 5.08 mm

Range at Night: 500 yd., 457.2 m

MSRP: $99.99

About LaserLyte:
Direct Components

Lake Forest, CA --(Ammoland.com)- The highly anticipated UVGS7 has made its launch September 7th. UVGS7 is the first and only Black Tactical Light on the market.

Released earlier this month by Direct Components, the UVGS7 is the latest in a new concept of aiming light technology which provides maximum safety and flexibility in critical situations, rapid target acquisition and all the benefits of IR lasers without the use of optics.

“Based on our proprietary laser design technology, this new ultraviolet diode laser operates with low amplitude noise, higher target fluorescence, tight focal length, shorter Rayleigh length and extremely low power consumption in a compact laser housing” says Steve Mencanin Direct Components President and CEO.

The laser is nearly invisible to the naked eye until the beam hits the target; due to higher energetic frequency target materials fluoresce to user, and not the target. Designed to improve range and visibility in day and night conditions, UVGS7 offers faster target acquisition, zero beam track back, no effect on night vision and is fifty times more visible than any green laser aiming light on the market.

Direct Components UVGS7 Black Tactical Light

Due the unique properties of the UVGS7 UV spectrum laser, users will be able to recognize the beam faster, in day or night settings, than a red or green laser, never lose track of the beam in a heavy action situation and the target will not be able to track the beam back to the user.

Mencanin says” These unique UV properties make the UVGS7 the safest and most effective aiming light in the world.”

Mencanin also boasts, “That in conjunctions with all of the safety and accuracy features the rugged devices remains light-weight and meets the MIL-STD-810G requirements for reliability under harsh conditions.”

Available for handguns, M-4, M-16, AR-15 and other weapon confirming to the MIL- SPEC 1913 rail. UVGS7 comes in four versions the 5mW, 50mW, 100mW and 150mW.

Features include: rugged aerospace aluminum housing (MIL-SPEC Type III hard coat anodized), power warning indicator, multiple user modes, light weight, no rail equipped fore grip required, “Bread Crumb” capability, and ultralow parallax. class="wp-caption-text">Laserlyte

Cottonwood, Ariz. –-(AmmoLand.com)- LaserLyte® announces its new Rear Sight Laser (RSL) model for Ruger® SR9® standard and compact pistols. The RSL’s ground-breaking new laser design incorporated into the rear sight, compact size and revolutionary performance make it the most extraordinary system LaserLyte has produced. Easy-to-install and easy-to-operate, the new RSL offers a high-power laser with the benefit of not having to replace existing grips or internal stock parts. The RSL is the only laser system currently available that allows the user to holster a lasered SR9 pistol.

The RSL’s activation switch is a strategically placed button at the back of the slide that is easily activated by the thumb in a normal shooting position for left- or right-handed shooters. First press of the activation switch produces the constant on mode, second press produces pulse mode, and third press deactivates the laser. A small LED on the back of the laser indicates if the laser is on and what mode it is in.

The RSL is also available for Glock®, Springfield Armory® XD/XD(M)™ and Smith & Wesson® M&P™ pistols. The unit is constructed from MIM 4650, nickel enriched high carbon steel, the same material used for most heavy-duty gun parts such as iron sights, hammers and levers. It is also black chrome, bead blasted for a non-reflective finish. When mounted onto the pistol the RSL will fit all Level I and II holsters. The RSL is powered by four 377 batteries that provide six hours of normal usage. Normal usage is defined as one minute on and one minute off. This test mimics actual usage where the unit is turned on and off and the battery is given time to automatically regenerate. LaserLyte offers discounted batteries at www.laserlyte.com. The RSL is tested and recommended by the National Tactical Officer’s Association.

LaserLyte Rear Sight Laser Specifications:

Product Number: RL-SR

Compatible Firearms: Fits all Ruger SR9 standard and compact

Power Output: Class IIIA, 5mw

Laser module: 650nm

Batteries: 4-377

Battery Life: Normal Usage – constant on: 5 hours +, pulse mode: 10 hours +

Weight: 1.2 oz., 34.02 g

Length: .85 in., 21.59 mm

Width: 1.05 in., 26.67 mm

Height: .35 in., 8.89 mm

Range at Night: 500 yd., 457.2 m

MSRP: $199.95

LaserLyte, the leader in laser technology, is the shooting and hunting division of P&L Industries. class="wp-caption-text">Aimpoint

Chantilly, VA –-(AmmoLand.com)- The Aimpoint Philosophy When the time comes to shoot, there should be absolutely no question that you can count on your sight to perform.

We believe that a weapon sight should simplify aiming while meeting the highest possible requirements for reliability and ruggedness. We know that conditions in the field place extreme demands on your equipment, so we design and test Aimpoint products to stand up to any conditions you are likely to encounter.

We also design our products to operate constantly for years on a single battery so your sight will always be ready whenever you need it.

Why a Red Dot Sight?
To be successful, shooters must be able to aim accurately and quickly under a wide variety of conditions. On a shooting range, there is plenty of time to take aim, but in the real world, everything is in fast motion. Add rough terrain, foul weather, poor light and high levels of stress and even the most experienced marksman will be put to the test.

Red dot sights are superior to iron sights and magnifying scopes in several ways. Using these other types of aiming devices require that the shooter’s focus leaves the target. With iron sights, shooters must align the rear and front sights with the target. Magnified scopes slow you down. Your field of vision is severely limited, and locating your target through a tube with one eye closed wastes valuable time and destroys your situational awareness.

The single red dot has been proven to be the fastest type of reticule to place on target, and provides the greatest increase in hit probability on moving targets. Red dot sights allow you to remain focused on the target. Shooting with both eyes open means that you remain in touch with what is going on around you, and will never again miss an important shot because your scope was on the wrong magnification!

Why an Aimpoint Red Dot Sight?
Place the dot on your target – from any angle Aimpoint sights are parallax-free, which means that the visible dot remains parallel to the bore of your weapon no matter what angle your eye is in relation to the sight. This means you never have to worry about centering the dot inside the sight. When the dot is on target, so are you. You will be able to get on target fast, and can forget about being challenged by bad light or moving targets.

All conditions – Anywhere
Aimpoint sights work in all light conditions from the darkness of the forest before dawn to bright mountain sunlight. They are fully submersible so you never have to worry about rain or immersion. Aimpoint sights are developed and tested to be used in any weather conditions, from the sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic to the heat and humidity of the tropics.

On any type of firearm
Whether you have a rifle, shotgun, handgun, black powder rifle or bow, Aimpoint has a sight for you.

Standard features on all Aimpoint sights

Unlimited field of view

Parallax-free and unlimited eye relief

Unaffected by extreme weather conditions

Extremely rugged, durable construction

No hazardous materials

No laser emission that could be harmful to your eyes

Increased aiming confidence and hit probability

Reduced training time and ammunition consumption

Battery life measured in years

User friendliness
Aimpoint sights are extremely user friendly. Operated by a mechanical switch or push-buttons, an Aimpoint sight can be easily and quickly changed to the right setting while simultaneously aiming through your sight. Our mechanical switch and push buttons won’t freeze and are easy to use whether you are wearing gloves or not.

Environmental awareness
At Aimpoint, we take great pride in making sure that neither hazardous nor radioactive materials are used in our sights.

Quality
Aimpoint sights are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and meet the highest standards of quality. Each sight is hand-built at our state of the art facilities in Sweden, assigned an individual identification number, and subjected to rigorous testing and numerous quality control checks during the manufacturing process.

Aimpoint’s Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology
We pioneered the development of the red-dot sight in 1975, so every Aimpoint sight has over 35 years of advanced Electro-optical science built in. Aimpoint’s new Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology combines our superior accuracy and ease of use with significantly lower power usage to maximize battery life.

ACET sights can last up to 50,000 hours (over 5 years on setting 7 out of 10) of constant use from a single battery. That is 49,000 hours more than other competitive sights on the same setting.

Aimpoint has taken another giant step forward by applying its scientific expertise in developing the new Hunter series sights. The Hunter sights offer full length product performance with features like 34mm tubes and digital brightness adjustments. Place the dot on the target, squeeze the trigger, and your job is done. Add an Aimpoint Hunter sight to your favorite firearm and put our science to the test. We’re ready when you are.

Aimpoint – Global leader
Aimpoint is the recognized worldwide leader and originator of red dot sighting technology. After 35 years of working closely with experienced marksmen and military weapon experts around the world, Aimpoint red dot sights remain the number one choice for combining ruggedness, speed and accuracy. Aimpoint sights are in service with the US Army, the US Air Force, the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and numerous other military forces, police agencies, and special teams worldwide. class="wp-caption-text">Meprolight

Or Akiva, Israel --(AmmoLand.com)- Meprolight, a provider of innovative weapon sights, today announced the global availability of MEPRO MOR – a multi-purpose, multi-activated “red dot” reflex sight with laser designators. Meprolight has started mass production of the innovative sight, and the product is already being used by a number of military forces around the world.

MEPRO MOR is the only sight that actually includes three possibilities in one sight: passive sight (operated without batteries), an active reflex sight for low light conditions, and dual laser pointers (red laser and/or infrared). . The possibility of using the sight without batteries offers cost and energy savings, and enables the soldier to stay in the field longer. Reserve units can store the sights for years and use it immediately when necessary.

MEPRO MOR Multi-Purpose Reflex Sight with Laser Designators

The user can adjust the passive sight’s illumination intensity, according to the external illumination level, using a special switch. The sight has also a one-time zeroing procedure that enables the user to set only one aiming point, and the other sights are zeroed accordingly.

MEPRO MOR is designed and fabricated to the highest military standards, to assure years of reliable operation under all field conditions. The sight weighs only 450 grams and the laser intensity can be adjusted to 1-5MW, according to the client’s request.

The MEPRO MOR, which was developed for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), is specially designed for quick and instinctive accurate shooting. The large field of view (30 mm diameter) assures effective use of the sight under extreme conditions, such as bad weather or firing after physical stress and under pressure. It also assures rapid target acquisition with one or both eyes open, and rapid transition between long range and close quarters engagements.

“MEPRO MOR enables quick action and instinctive, accurate shooting ability,” said Golan Kalimi, Meprolight’s Vice President of Marketing. “This all-in-one-sight boosts ability while lowering costs by eliminating the need to purchase a separate laser and\or IR designator.”

About Meprolight
Meprolight designs and manufactures a wide array of electro-optical and optical sights and devices, night vision devices, thermal sights, and a wide variety of night sights and other tritium- and LED-illuminated products and accessories for safety and security applications for the law enforcement, military and civilian communities. class="wp-caption-text">Aimpoint

Chantilly, VA –-(AmmoLand.com)- Aimpoint, the originator and worldwide leader in electronic red dot sighting technology, has announced the launch of an all-new line of premium red-dot optics specifically designed for use on hunting rifles and shotguns. These new products, known as the Aimpoint Hunter Series, make it possible for hunters to acquire their target faster and to make difficult shots in any weather or light conditions.

Aimpoint engineers started with a blank page when they designed the new Hunter H34L sight. and they came up with an exciting new product! This new line of non-magnified sights incorporates everything that end users have come to expect from Aimpoint, including legendary ruggedness and battery life measured in years. The Hunter Series also includes many additional features never before offered before by Aimpoint; enhanced optical performance provided by a 34mm tube, a newly designed front-mounted adjustment system that helps get shooters on target even faster than before, and a silently operated digital push button intensity adjustment touch pad. Just one look tells you that this is the most advanced hunting sight that Aimpoint has ever built, and the sleek, modern design will complement any firearm.

The first sights released in the series are 34mm products. The Hunter H34L is a full length sight ideal for use on center fire rifles with standard or magnum actions. The compact version, the H34S, is designed for use on standard action rifles and hunting shotguns. Both versions are mounted using two 34mm Weaver-style sight rings that are supplied with each sight. Both versions utilize a premium, multi coated anti-reflex lens in their massive 45mm objective, and operate for up to 50,000 hours (over 5 years) of constant operation from a single CR-2032 battery. Accuracy in any light or weather conditions is provided by a parallax-free lens system with a 2 MOA dot. These sights are fully waterproof, and extremely fast on target.

“The new Hunter Series shows that Aimpoint means business when it comes to hunting” said Brian Lisankie, President of Aimpoint Inc. “This is a completely new product, designed with input from serious hunters across the globe. We are very proud to offer North American hunters an alternative to magnified optics using the absolute latest developments in electro-optical science. The results are pretty spectacular – try one to see just how fast and accurately you can shoot without magnification.”

For more information on Aimpoint and Aimpoint products, visit the company’s website at: www.aimpoint.com or contact:
Tags: <a
