This compact, lightweight Colt 1911 series pistol with wrap-around, front activation laser sight, gives shooters increased accuracy and confidence in their shot placement.

The upgraded New Agent model 1911 weighs less than 24 ounces and measures 6.75 inches in length. While possessing the power and protection of a full sized pistol, this compact model is a great option for concealed carry. Colt’s New Agent offers a seven-round magazine capacity in .45 ACP and an eight-round magazine capacity in 9 mm Parabellum.

The carbon steel slide is finished in matte blue and the lightweight alloy frame is black anodized. The New Agent’s trigger is skeletonized aluminum with a 3-inch bushingless barrel.

The New Agent’s traditional double diamond grips have been replaced with black, wrap-around Crimson Trace grips made of a polymer and rubber combination. With the Crimson Trace laser sight and trench style sighting system in lieu of iron sights, the New Agent has a snagless draw, adding to the capability of this pistol.

Highly visible at self-defense distances, the red laser comes factory-zeroed at 50 feet. The unit may be fine tuned by the user for their choice of ammunition, via integral windage and elevation adjustments. When the pistol is held with a natural firing grip, the instinctive, front-activation laser is initiated.

The LG-417 is the ultimate refinement of laser sighting systems for Glock pistols. It is instinctively activated by a pressure switch built into the front strap of the polymer Lasergrips. Simply grasping the firearm in a normal shooting grip activates the laser. The master on/off switch is located on the left-hand side and uses new microprocessor touch sensor switch technology versus a mechanical switch found on most other Lasergrips. Wilsonville, OR - -(TheOutdoorWire.com)- Crimson Trace announces the next generation of Lasergrips for many of the Glock pistols. The LG-417 fits the 17 and 19 family of Glock pistols to include the 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37 and the 38. Suggested retail price is $329.00.

The LG-417 improves upon the Crimson Trace G-Series design by including a master on/off switch and a wrap-around style that maintains the stock Glock grip angle. The Lasergrips encircle the polymer grip of the Glock and are anchored in place by a locking piece that covers the beavertail. It is instinctively activated by a pressure switch built into the front strap of the polymer Lasergrips. Simply grasping the firearm in a normal shooting grip activates the laser. All electrical components fit into the Lasergrip, which is small in size and is ergonomically designed for comfort. This new model fits all right-handed Safariland ® holsters as well as all Blackhawk® holsters. Aggressive texture provides a positive grip.

Two #2032 batteries are located in the palm swell on each side of the Lasergrips, providing over 4 hours of constant-on beam time. The master on/off switch is located on the left-hand side and uses new, pressure-sensitive microprocessor switch technology versus a mechanical switch found on most other Lasergrips. Users simply press the recessed pressure switch to turn the unit on or off. Rubber overmolding covers both the activation button on the front strap and the master on/off switch, providing improved grip while shooting.

Another new feature of the LG-417 is that it uses a smaller ultra-compact 3.3mm diameter laser diode. This dramatically reduces the overall size of the laser diode housing.
