The new FDE stainless steel slide is fitted with high-profile combat night sights and includes two mounting bases to accept an optional Red dot electronic sight. Each FNP-45 Tactical comes with three 15-round magazines and an exclusive Eagle tactical soft case.

FN Five-SeveN
The innovative, single action, auto loading Five-SeveN pistol now comes with the option of adjustable target sights or fixed three-dot sights. It is available in olive drab green, matte black or flat dark earth finishes. It fires the low recoil 5.7×82mm cartridge – recently approved by the NRA Law Enforcement Activities Division for use in its Tactical Police Competition — and features a textured, ergonomic polymer frame with checkered panels for a secure grip. SCAR
SCAR 16S is back in black.
The SCAR 16S – the semi-auto version of the U.S. Special Operations Command’s newest service rifle — is now available in matte black with all the same features as the flat dark earth model and can be purchased with 10 or 30-round magazines.

SCAR 17S
Released for 2010 is the highly anticipated SCAR 17S now available for civilian purchase. Chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO (308 Win.) and slightly heavier than the SCAR 16S, this unique carbine offers long-range accuracy, exceptional reliability and match winning versatility.

Both SCARs have fully ambidextrous operating controls, a free floating, cold hammer-forged Mil-SPEC barrel with hard-chromed bore; a receiver-integrated MIL-STD 1913 optical rail plus three accessory rails for mounting scopes, electronic sights, lights, or lasers. Beretta Unveils New A400 Xplor Unico Shotgun

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - -(AmmoLand.com)- It has been several months since we last communicated with you concerning the development status of the Palm Pistol. Interest in the product remains high with well over 400 pre-production units reserved. We are working diligently in an effort to bring it to market by late 2010 as originally anticipated. Here are some highlights of our achievements to date:

1. On October 6, 2009 the USPTO granted trademark protection to the product name PALM PISTOL. Design and utility patents and trademark registration for CONSTITUTION ARMS are pending.
2. Critical components including the frame, barrel, receiver, latch, latch pin and barrel hinge pin are being evaluated and further refined using finite element analysis.
3. The barrel was re-chambered from 9 mm, a rimless cartridge to the rimmed .38 special. This was necessary to achieve ejection rather than extraction of the casing after firing. Additional chamberings may be considered after successful release of the first model.
4. The threaded muzzle was increased from ½ x 28 to 5/8 x 24 to accommodate increased barrel wall thickness.
5. The integral three-digit combination lock was eliminated. This feature proved to be inordinately expensive and would have increased the Palm Pistol’s retail cost and development time. It may be reintroduced at a later time based on customer feedback.
6. The estimated unloaded weight of the Palm Pistol was calculated to be 14 ounces, subject to change.
7. Completion of specification drawings for all components is anticipated later this year at which time we will be seeking bids from our suppliers for producing the first set of working prototypes.

We appreciate your patience and know you realize how difficult it is to bring a new product to market in the highly regulated area of firearms, current economic conditions notwithstanding.

GRANBURY, Texas --(AmmoLand.com)- In the days of the old Wild West when professional poker players often held an extra card to improve their chances of winning, it wasn’t unusual to see derringers drawn to help iron out the situation.

Back then the pocket pistol was likely a cheesy knock off of the Philadelphia deringer, which was designed by Henry Deringer and produced from 1852 to 1868. Those copycats weren’t the greatest of spellers either, which explains how the deringer gained an extra “r” and became forever known as the derringer.

No price change for the caliber differences even though the magazines are more expensive. We’ll also be able to provide the GP6 & GP6-C with a 5″ barrel. We’re taking orders for them all now, too.

As MUST happen when we start adding new firearms to the product line, something has to go to make room for them. As you’re aware, the “TruSight” has already bitten the dust! Even though we recently gotten some excellent press coverage on the Rogue, we intend to build only one more run of approximately 20 pieces. If this one “trips yer trigger”, you need to get your order entered soon. Further candidates (no decision ‘til the end of the year) are those perennially on the list, the 6 inch Trojan and the Lawman. Because we’ve got 8-12 potential new products, we’ve got to make some decisions soon. I think the new models will intrigue you greatly but we’ll hold those for the “SHOT Show Surprise”.

The owners’ manual for the “Sporting” and “Tactical” rifles is on the website. Those items are still selling very well. Well enough that we’re able to reduce the price on both. Check with your contact here, or your Distributor, for the new price structure.

Increased foreign manufacturing costs and the weakening U.S. $ will necessitate a minor price increase on our imported products, the GP6, GP6-C, and the Spartan. These won’t happen all at once but will phase in as contracts are renewed. We’ll probably be increasing prices on the LS9 and on select 1911 and 2011 parts, also, as of January 1, 2010. Old prices are good until we publish a price list dated 1/1/10.

As they say on late night TV, “back by popular demand”, you’ll start seeing the previously discontinued “2011″ single stack polymer grip making a comeback. This is proving necessary due to the number of folks that want to use our (and other manufacturers) .22LR top ends and the number of countries and states that have 10 round only laws.

We still can’t keep up with the demand for the 1911 & 2011 .22LR conversion kits but we’re pushin’ as hard as we can. Just as a preliminary forecast, it looks like our total product output will be up a few points over 30% by the end of this year.

This reintroduction of the most popular rifle in history will be offered in two Limited Edition models that will commemorate the 200th anniversary of Oliver F. Winchester’s birth in New England in 1810. A Model 1894 Custom Grade and Model 1894 High Grade will be offered in 30-30 Winchester caliber.

The Model 1894 began at the workbench of John M. Browning, being the first sporting rifle to use smokeless powder. It has been said that the Model 1894 has taken more deer than any other rifle in the world, and with over six million sold, has become by far, the most popular rifle in history. What better way to welcome back the timeless Winchester® Model 1894 than with a tribute to Oliver F. Winchester.

Model 1894 Custom Grade
Only 500 Custom Grade rifles in sets with the High Grade model will be offered. This rifle will have an exquisite 24″ half-round, half-round octagon deeply blued barrel. A buckhorn rear sight is matched with a Marble’s® gold bead front sight. The Custom Grade model has Grade IV/V walnut with a rich, high gloss finish. Deep scroll engraving covers both sides of the blued receiver. An early Winchester Repeating Arms crest graces the left side of the receiver, with the right side bearing the words, “Two Hundred Years, Oliver F. Winchester,” and the dates “1810 – 2010″, in gold. The barrel is deeply polished, with the signature of Oliver F. Winchester in gold on the top of the bolt. “One of Five Hundred” is inscribed in gold on the barrel of the Custom Grade rifle.

Model 1894 High Grade
The Winchester Model 1894 High Grade also honors and commemorates the 200th anniversary of Oliver Fisher Winchester’s birth. This model is deeply embellished with delicate scroll work, with Oliver F. Winchester’s signature in gold on top of the bolt. The left side of the receiver bears an early Winchester Repeating Arms crest. On the right side are the words, “Two Hundred Years, Oliver F. Winchester,” and the dates, “1810-2010.” The fancy Grade II/III walnut stock is enhanced with a high gloss finish and is delicately checkered, complementing the fine embellishments on the silver nitride receiver. The High Grade model is also chambered in the timeless 30-30 Winchester caliber with a deeply blued half-round, half octagon barrel. A buckhorn rear sight is fitted with a Marble’s gold bead front sight. 500 of the High Grade model will be sold as a set with the Custom Grade. The remaining limited quantities will be sold individually.

Delivery of these two commemorative rifles will begin starting in the 2nd quarter of 2010. Both models have 8 round magazine capacity, 42″ overall length, 10″ rate of twist with average weight at 8 lbs. The Model 1894 Custom Grade rifle has a Suggested Retail of $1,959.00. Placing this slide atop the stainless frame makes for an exceptionally striking custom pistol.

This is a full size clone of the standard 1911 .45 ACP. The weight is less than the original 1911 because both the slide and the frame are constructed of aluminum alloy. The lighter slide in particular also allows for reliable functioning it has much less mass for the recoil action of the diminutive .22LR round to function.

The internal components of the 1911-22 are all steel of course. The barrel is fixed to the frame to provide better accuracy. The fixed barrel also eliminates some not necessary parts found in the original .45 which was designed for full disassembly due to battlefield conditions.

Finish on the slide and frame is a tough flat black oxide finish. MKS Supply is also going to make available models with olive drab and desert tan powder coated slides.

Loaded Chamber Indicator -The new model is designed to provide physical indication if there is a casing loaded in the chamber.

The product is designed with a lever mounted on the top of slide. The lever is marked as Indicator in red lettering.

When a shell casing is chambered the casing pushes the lever upward and out of position.

The operator will visually see the lever as it is raised up.

Also the operator will be able to feel the indicator as being out of its normal resting position as it will not be flush with the top of the slide, thus warning the operator that the firearm is loaded.

External Safety -The new model has, in addition to the internal safety, an external safety that will prevent the firearm from firing when the safety is in safe position.

The product has an external lever with two settings. When the lever is pushed up the Red dot is visible; the firearm is in the armed position and ready to fire with the pull of the trigger.

When the lever is pushed down, the Red dot is hidden and the firearm is in safe position and will not function with the pull of the trigger. The safety works in the following sequence. When the lever is in down (Safe) position the connecting cam on the lever pushes the trigger bar out of position thus disconnecting it from the cocking cam.

Thus, even when the trigger is pulled, there is no contact between the trigger bar and the cocking cam and thus there is no fire. When the lever is pushed up (fire/armed position) the cam moves out of place and the trigger bar moves up, again connecting with the cocking cam and ready to fire with the pull of the trigger.

Offering the fit and feel of the company’s popular Military & Police (M&P) Rifle Series, the M&P15-22 is a dedicated .22 LR platform manufactured with a high strength polymer upper and lower receiver, offering reduced weight while being chambered in the more economical ammunition.

“The new M&P15-22 was specifically designed to offer consumers, law enforcement and military professionals, as well as AR-15 enthusiasts a lightweight yet durable rifle with operating controls that function identically to other M&P15 rifles currently in production.” said Tom Kelly, Vice President of Marketing for Smith & Wesson. “Since the rifle is chambered in the more affordable .22 LR ammunition, the M&P15-22 provides sport shooters and working professionals with an opportunity to practice and train without the higher cost and scarcity of .223 ammunition.”

The M&P15-22 also features a fully functional charging handle, an AR-15 style magazine release, bolt catch and a two-position receiver mounted safety. The M&P15-22 has an unloaded weight of approximately 5 pounds. The rifle measures a compact 31 inches with the stock collapsed and 34 inches with the stock fully extended. The MR 1 rifle, Benelli’s latest offering, is chambered in 5.56mm NATO (.223 Rem.) and uses the battle-proven ARGO system—the same system developed by Benelli for the M1014 and used for over a decade in multiple conflicts by the United States Marine Corps.

The sights are a military-style aperture, adjustable for windage and elevation in the field, using only a cartridge rim. A Picatinny rail allows mounting of both conventional and night-vision sights, while retaining metallic-sight capability. All steel parts are black phosphated and aluminum parts are hard-anodized in a matte finish for low visibility and corrosion resistance. The Benelli MR 1 carbine comes standard with a five-round magazine, and can also accept standard M16 magazines. An optional Picatinny tri-rail forend kit is available for mounting a laser aiming device, front handle, illuminator and other accessories.

The MR 1 features a stainless steel, self-cleaning piston that operates directly against the proven rotating bolt, thereby eliminating the need for complex linkages found on other inferior gas systems. This piston-driven system (ARGO), perfected by Benelli, incorporates a gas port located just forward of the chamber where the gases are hotter and cleaner, resulting in less fouling and more reliable cycling. In function testing the MR 1 exceeded the military requirements without malfunction. The result is a Benelli carbine with Marine-tough reliability able to function under the harshest environmental conditions.

Little information is currently being released regarding upcoming modifications to the current rifle system aside from the statement that .408 Rifles shipped from EDM’s Hurricane, Utah based facility will feature the new “THOR Global Defense Group” markings after August 1, 2009. “We have some big plans” says Knesek.

THOR intends to expand the current dealer base considerably; as well as focus additional energy to military and law enforcement communities, both at home and abroad.

THOR’s XM-Series rifle is a CNC and EDM machined receiver and bolt with a fully adjustable stock, mil-spec picatinny rail, adjustable mono-pod, adjustable bi-pod, a 30” 1/13 twist barrel and many additional features. Also available is a simple conversion kit for those wishing to chamber their rifle in .50 BMG for dual purpose applications. To further ensure quality products for the end user, all EDM products are backed with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Bill Ritchie, owner of EDM has been creating quality rifles since 1990. Ritchie’s recent move to Utah from his Redlands, California office has allowed for a much larger facility and increased EDM’s overall production dramatically. The relations with THOR will allow for more one on one time with customers desiring technical information, allowing EDM to focus on the manufacturing process. The new A3 incorporates features that AUG aficionados have always wanted.

Features like a long picatinny rail were added so that the optic of your choice can be mounted in addition to a smaller side rail for the newest lights and/or lasers.
