Dealer Trailer Headlined by Federal Premium Makes First Appearance of 2009

ANOKA, Minn. – -(AmmoLand.com)- Two trailers headlined by Federal Premium® will make stops at dealer locations and events across the country. The first stop at H&H Gun Range in Oklahoma City, OK from July 16-18 begins a four-month period that will see the two trailers appear at more than 60 events.

Last year was the first time a branded trailer visited retail locations and special events. The response from consumers and dealers was overwhelmingly positive.

“At locations where the trailer stopped we saw an increase in store traffic, sales and overall attendance,” said Dealer Services Manager Bart Biedinger. “Because of this success we had requests for a trailer from all over the country this year. And even though we added a second trailer, we still won’t make it to all of the locations we’d like to.”

More Information and Interaction
Last year’s debut saw a trailer filled with information on Federal Premium Ammunition, Weaver® and Nitrex™ optics and the full line of ammunition and accessories. Finding out from dealers and customers what worked, what didn’t and what needed to be changed was a priority. The result is two trailers that work even harder at engaging, informing and motivating possible customers.

“We’ve got some really exciting things in the trailers this year,” said Biedinger. “At the Shooters Ridge® Trick My 10/22 Kiosk, customers can put together their favorite configuration electronically and decide what parts they want to buy.”

In addition, there is a Federal Cartridge Company timeline dating back to 1922 and sectioned optics that show the features of Weaver and Nitrex at a whole new level. Visitors can also see detailed bullet and product models and put their hands on even more scopes and binoculars.

On-Going Promotions
Consumers who stop by the trailer can take advantage of a few trailer-specific deals. Anyone who buys a Weaver Grand Slam® or Super Slam™ scope can get a free canvas range bag (MSRP: $125.00). Consumers who buy two boxes of Federal Premium ammunition are eligible to receive a free hat as well.

Introducing the TR two series
In response to last year’s acclaimed introduction of the Nitrex™ Optics TR one series, Nitrex unveils their next generation of riflescopes. The TR two series continues the tradition of tough and rugged scopes designed for premium big game hunters and features new magnification options of 2-10×42, 2-10×50, 3-15×42, 3-15×50 and 4-20×50.

Each model focuses on perfecting the fundamentals of optics manufacturing with such features as:

• Fully multi-coated lenses
• Resettable pull-up turrets (no turret caps to lose)
• Side focus parallax (except on 2-10 models)
