title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Always the innovator, Vortex Optics added first focal plane models to its popular Viper HS Riflescope series.

To the users eye, first focal plane reticles expand and decrease in size in a direct, proportional relationship to magnification. This is due to the reticle’s forward placement in the optical system. The benefit of that placement is all reticle sustentions remain constant and useable throughout the entire zoom range.

Translation – Your BDC and subtension reticle references are accurate at all magnifications. That’s right, no more having to double-check your scopes setting when that trophy of a lifetime steps out at distance, everything seems to be happening at once and you want to use your reticle’s drop references – or worse, using drop references on the incorrect magnification setting resulting in a poor hit or miss. It’s basically a failsafe measure.

“Many of our riflescopes built for tactical applications and long-range shooting where time is a critical variable employ first focal plane reticles and the advantages they offer,” said Joe Hamilton, Vortex Optics national sales manager.

“It just made sense to further incorporate them into our hunting riflescopes as an option for hunters who want to maximize their effective range during the types of high-pressure situations they can encounter in the field.”

The new first focal plane Vortex Viper HS models add a new twist to hunting-oriented riflescopes and are sure to turn heads. Reticle images and information are available on the vortexoptics.com Web site.

Available: 4-16×50 LR (XLR Reticle), 6-24×50 LR (XLR Reticle)

American-owned, Wisconsin-based Vortex Optics designs, engineers and distributes a complete line of premium binoculars, riflescopes, spotting scopes, tripods and related accessories. Dedicated to exceptional quality, value and unrivaled customer service, Vortex backs its products with its unconditional, lifetime VIP-warranty. class="wp-caption-text">Redfield

BEAVERTON, Ore. —-(Ammoland.com)- Redfield’s new Revenge line offers an exclusive “in-scope” ballistic ranging system and other premium features at commonly affordable prices for hunters and shooters.

The line includes five riflescope magnifications as well as a scope for crossbow hunting.

Revenge is the second Redfield-branded riflescope from Leupold & Stevens, Inc., joining the popular Revolution introduced in 2010. The new Accu-Ranger Ballistics System is unique to Revenge riflescopes. It allows hunters to determine the distance to commonly hunted animals and helps enhance shooting accuracy at longer ranges —out to 600 yards— without taking eyes off the target. With Accu-Ranger, there is no need to go back and forth between scope and rangefinder when setting up for a shot.

Revenge riflescope magnifications include 2-7x34mm, 3-9x42mm, 3-9x52mm, 4-12x42mm and 6-18x44mm. The Accu-Ranger system is available in all riflescope models except the 2-7x34mm. In addition, the Revenge 2-7x34mm ABS Crossbow scope comes with the Accu-Ranger Crossbow reticle.

“The Redfield Revenge is an all-new, one-of-a-kind series of riflescopes featuring our exclusive new Accu-Ranger Ballistics System,” said Pat Mundy, communications manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “These riflescopes continue the Redfield tradition of top-notch optics priced within the means of most every hunter.”

With Accu-Ranger, the hunter simply uses the riflescope’s power selector ring to bracket the animal’s torso between the horizontal line of the reticle and the bottom of the top post. After determining the yardage from the reticle numbers, the hunter zooms the scope up to its highest power, and then uses the appropriate aiming point to shoot. Specific Accu-Ranger reticles include the Hunter, Sabot, Varmint and Crossbow. Other reticle options for Revenge riflescopes include the 4-Plex and Fine Plex, depending on model.

Additional riflescope features include:

Fully multicoated lens system for outstanding image brightness, clarity and resolution. Performs well in low-light conditions.

Pop-up, resettable ¼-MOA windage and elevation adjustments. Ensures adjustment precision and reliability, and a wide range of adjustment travel.

Fast-focus eyepiece. Makes reticle focus easy to achieve and maintain.

Revenge riflescopes have a one-inch maintube and are nitrogen filled to make them waterproof, fog proof and shock proof. Exhaustive testing in the factory and field ensures the riflescopes’ reliability and durability. They are covered by the Redfield Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Manufacturer’s suggested retail prices range from $139.99 to $269.99. For more information, visit www.redfield.com or call 877-798-9686.

Acquired by Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in 2008, Redfield is now a brand of the Oregon-based company. The Redfield line includes Revolution and Revenge riflescopes, Rebel roof prism and Renegade Porro prism binoculars, Rampage spotting scope kits and Raider rangefinders. The Redfield Gun Sight Company was founded in 1909 by John Hill Redfield. Over the years, Redfield became one of the leading American manufacturers of sports optics, known for the performance, ruggedness and reliability of its products. The new Redfield line upholds that tradition and is sold worldwide to hunters, shooters, wildlife observers and other outdoor enthusiasts.
Tags: <a

The extremely high resolution night vision image can now be viewed in real time or recorded as a picture or video, it’s amazing. We are committed to supporting all the major brands: Apple, Samsung, Blackberry, Droid, and Palm just to name a few. We also have connectivity with certain thermal imaging devices and the imagery is the same, unbelievable.

Not to mention crystal clear audio recording, digital zoom, GPS tagging, Time/Date stamping, and all of this from the phone in my back pocket. Obviously we are very excited at the potential of this new product; specifically the enhanced digital capabilities this gives our optical night vision devices”.

Laserlyte

COTTONWOOD, AZ --(Ammoland.com)- LaserLyte, the industry leader with the smallest lasers for gun sights, laser bore sights and laser training is celebrating 25 years of laser innovation.

Larry Moore started in the firearms/hunting industry over thirty years ago in Arizona. With a passion for the shooting sports and hunting, he started a book publishing business that specialized in survival skills and weapons. Moore also started publishing magazines; several o f which are still selling well on the newsstands and by subscription, such as S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons and Tactics), Turbo and Arizona Hunter and Angler.

Moore, always the intrepid entrepreneur, founded a gun accessory company in 1987 that later became Tac Star Industries, Inc. Under the Tac Star banner, Moore sold gun accessories and designed and produced new products, including the first “laser bore sighter” on the market. In less than ten years with Tac Star continuing to grow, Moore merged with Lyte Optronics and LaserLyte was born.Larry Moore, Founder of LaserLyte

Moore sold LaserLyte and bought it back just a few years later in 2001 for the sole purpose of developing state-of-the-art laser and shooting products. Just a year later, his son, Aaron Moore joined the business as Vice President and Director of Operations. With the junior Moore’s education and experience in business, engineering and international relations now used to drive the business, the senior Moore focused 100% of his attention on designing new cutting-edge laser products for the shooting industry.

From the initial product line-up of laser bore sights, LaserLyte then tackled designing, engineering and producing some of the industry’s first solid-state lasers for firearms and continued to revolutionize the market with the smallest, high performance lasers for rear sights, rail mounts and side mounts for revolvers, semi-auto pistols and rifles. Besides lasers for firearms and laser bore sight s, LaserLyte entered the training realm with the personal Laser Trainer Target system, a very affordable, portable, interactive laser training target. LaserLyte also produced caliber specific cartridge laser trainers that allow the student to use the firearm in realistic shooting drills with or without the LaserLyte Laser Trainer Target system.

In keeping with the forward thinking and visionary marketing of Aaron Moore, LaserLyte developed, with Ka-Bar, a very unique pistol bayonet that attaches to any handgun rail. Whether used for personal defense or just for looks, the popularity of the LaserLyte pistol bayonets continues to grow, as does the line-up, which now includes a variety of pistol bayonets.

LaserLyte has started off their 25th year with a new, larger facility to compensate for their tremendous growth, now and for the future. Both Larry Moore and Aaron Moore already have many new laser concepts on the drawing board and in prototype for release in the next few years. What started out 25 years ago as an entrepreneur’s dream is now a successful shooting industry family business.

For more information, visit www.laserlyte.com and check us out on Facebook.

About LaserLyte
Ammoland.com)- Burris, the unequivocal expert in ballistic laser scopes with automated trajectory compensation, introduces the new Eliminator III.

This next-generation laser scope provides expert shooters with a level of sophistication only imaginable before now.

The Eliminator III features a sleek, new design that is similar to traditional riflescopes yet still incorporates state of the art electronics. Other improvements include new ergonomic activation buttons and parallax adjustment from 50 yards to infinity.

Rob Siemers, Burris Company general manager, said, “With the new Eliminator III, we have defined the next generation of modern riflescopes that incorporate technology and electronics with optical design. As the leader in this category, we are excited about the potential these new products will offer to hunters and long-range shooters.”

The current Eliminator’s split-second, automatic trajectory compensation technology has provided shooters with the invaluable ability to place ethical shots on target within seconds, which dramatically extends a shooter’s confidence and ability in the field. Now, the new Eliminator III with its X96 reticle technology provides even more accuracy, more range and a method of windage compensation. All of these elements have been perfected and are available at the push of a button at any magnification.

To achieve even greater accuracy at ranges from 750 to 1,200 yards, the Eliminator III features enhanced the ballistic programming. With the Eliminator III, the shooter enters not only the amount of drop at 750 yards for bullet and load he is shooting, but the ballistic coefficient (BC) for the chosen bullet, as well. The scope can be programmed for more than 1,500 commercially available loads.

An essential element in the Eliminator III is the new X96 reticle, which provides a convenient and accurate method to compensate for wind. Wind compensation is NOT fully automated within the scope; the digital readout displays a 10 MPH Wind Value for the shooter’s specific cartridge at the ranged as a “Dot Value.” The X96 reticle features several dots on each side of the vertical post. These Dots serve as references to the shooter to precisely hold into the wind. The shooter still needs to estimate the cross-wind value himself and also needs to convert the 10MPH Wind Value displayed to the appropriate value for the estimated actual MPH cross-wind value. The shooter then holds into the wind the appropriate “Dot Value” as shown below in the illustration below.

The Eliminator III will retail for $1,499 and will be available at retailers in July.

Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Greeley, Colo., the Burris Company offers a complete line of premium optics which includes riflescopes for hunting, competition, law enforcement and military; handgun scopes; binoculars; spotting scopes; mounts and accessories. title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Leica’s optical experts have joined forces with G7′s ballistics experts to develop the Integrated Ballistic System (IBS ) reticle.

This multi-purpose reticle allows the hunter to use the ballistic drop reticle or the center aiming point in conjunction with a custom ballistic turret that has been calibrated in yards.

The hold-over aiming points provide the shooter with aim points out to approximately 500 yards, depending on the cartridge and bullet used. The reticle’s windage hash marks assist the shooter in compensating for the wind.

The G-7-powered IBS Ballistic Calculator lets the shooter calculate and print out the distance for each hold-over dot or hash mark for his or her rifle and cartridge. The shooter enters the ballistic information of the cartridge into the calculator, or the factory cartridge specifications are selected; then the user can print a field-carry hold-over chart for that specific load.

A custom ballistic turret, which can be ordered from G7, allows the shooter to adjust the vertical turret to match the distance to the target, then hold right on to complete the shot.

The new IBS System provides shooters with maximum flexibility and ease of use for ultimate in long-range performance, whether using a bullet-drop compensating turret or reticle. The IBS reticle will be available in both Leica’s 2.5-10×42 and 3.5-14×42 ER riflescope models either with or without target turrets (elevation only).

For more info, check out http://us.leica-camera.com/sport_optics/rifle_scopes/Absehen/.
Tags: Ammoland.com)- Meprolight – a leading manufacturer of electro-optic systems to armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilian markets – will present at Shot Show (Booth #3427) the Mini-Hunter, a lightweight night vision weapon sight, and NOA NYX, an uncooled thermal weapon sight with 2x magnification.

Both sights are remarkably light weight and robust. The unique Mini-Hunter Compact Lightweight Night Vision Weapon Sight was developed and manufactured by Meprolight’s sister company, Pulse Inteco Systems. Weighing less than 1 lb (<400 grams), this very easy-to-use sight offers a 2x magnification. Designed for durability, the sight can withstand the most challenging battlefield conditions. Exceptionally flexible, the Mini-Hunter can also be used for observation, and fits a variety of weapon types – including rifles, assault rifles, rocket launchers and machine guns. Powered by a single, standard “AA” battery, the unit can operate continuously for up to 40 hours.

Meprolight’s NOA NYX uncooled thermal weapon sight with 2x magnification was developed in response to the critical need for precise target detection and engagement, even in conditions of dust, smoke, and total darkness. Weighing less than 2.2 Ibs (<1 Kg), the advanced NOA NYX uses high-resolution microbolometer technology to ensure clear and consistent results. The flexible unit can be used as a hand-held device or fitted to light machine guns, assault rifles, and submachine guns. Due to its light weight and long-range capability, it is also suitable for sharpshooter rifles with an x2 and x4 digital zoom. The sight can detect man-sized targets at up to 900m. Output can be fed to a remote screen or recording equipment via its “video out” feed. Storing up to 3 user-configured sighting reticules and requiring a warm-up time of less than 5 seconds, the NOA NYX can operate continuously for 7 hours using 4 “AA” batteries. The NOA NYX is the latest addition to the NOA family of sights that includes NOA x4, NOA x7, and NOA DUAL FIELD – which are all in use globally.

According to Benny Kokia, Director for Sales and Marketing at Meprolight, “The two sights that we are presenting for the first time in the US at Shot Show – from Meprolight and Pulse Inteco Systems – are the result of the implementation of customer requests for extremely lightweight sights that also have extensive capabilities. Both sights include features that make them especially suitable for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) – and are generating considerable interest among our customers around the world.”

About:<br

New proprietary reticle designs offer intuitive hold points for virtually any shooting situation. The easy-to-operate 4x magnification system provides a solid zoom range for target acquisition at various distances.

Products are waterproof/fogproof/nitrogen processed and include fully multicoated optics. Windage/elevation adjustments feature ⅛, ¼ and ½ MOA click adjustments.

Seace is available to discuss the T4i collection and Kruger’s other feature-rich, value packed products at (909) 468-5688, or by email at walters@krugeroptical.com. title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Carl Zeiss Sports Optics introduces the new 30mm CONQUEST Duralyt Riflescope line available in 1.2-5×36, 2-8×42 and 3-12×50 models.

Known for their reliability and precision, all three premium German-made models are available with illuminated reticle # 60 or non-illuminated reticle # 6, giving today’s active hunter excellent options for most hunting situations. The distinctive design, durability and outstanding value of these 30mm scopes set them apart in the premium segment.

“We’re excited to bring this new line of rugged, versatile 30mm CONQUEST riflescopes to the U.S. market,” said Michael A. Jensen, President of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics.

“We want to provide our customers with more choices, and the CONQUEST Duralyt represents the best value for a European engineered riflescope! These riflescopes feature the mechanical precision that you expect from ZEISS, large fields of view, incredible daylight illumination and image quality that is absolutely outstanding for this class. Simply put, the 30mm CONQUEST Duralyt offers exceptional performance at a very appealing price point.”

The illuminated reticle #60 features an extremely fine red dot in the center of the crosshairs. When turned off, the dot disappears and it looks identical to reticle #6 (both are non-magnifying reticles in the second image plane). The daylight-visible illuminated reticle #60 was developed using fiber optic nanotechnology that produces the finest illuminated dot in its class – covering just 0.3 inches at 100 yards on 12x magnification. Illumination is activated, and brightness intensity controlled, by pressing one of the two touch keys on the eyepiece. After four hours of unaltered operation, the illuminated dot switches off automatically. For manual deactivation, both buttons must be pressed simultaneously.

The progressive design of the CONQUEST Duralyt also features a unique dark grey, anodized surface with deep black rubber operating elements to ensure that the scopes blend well into natural surroundings. The CONQUEST Duralyt scopes are also nitrogen filled to remain water and fog proof for years of hard use and enjoyment.

The three CONQUEST Duralyt models provide hunters and shooters with options for just about any situation afield. The CONQUEST Duralyt 1.2-5×36’s low magnification and wide field of view allows for quick and safe target acquisition at close range making it an excellent choice for dangerous game and tactical applications.

The sleek and compact CONQUEST Duralyt 2-8×42 provides bright images in twilight and allows for accurate shooting at moderate distances exceeding 200 yards. This is the model of choice for those seeking a practical magnification range for various types of hunting.

The CONQUEST Duralyt 3-12×50 is the ideal choice for shooting medium to longer distances during the day or in twilight conditions. The 50mm objective allows for excellent low light performance and yet this scope is still lightweight enough for mountain hunters.

MSRP Retail

CONQUEST Duralyt 1.2-5×36, #6 $1,055.54 $949.99

CONQUEST Duralyt 1.2-5×36, illum #60 $1,388.88 $1,249.99

CONQUEST Duralyt 2-8×42, #6 $1,111.10 $999.99
Ammoland.com)- Stop by Kowa’s booth # 614 to see its two newest binoculars and to visit with TV show celebrities during the 2012 SHOT Show at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Celebs from The Hit List will be making an appearance Jan 17 at 11 am. Meet and greet the celebrities from Deer and Deer Hunting on Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. Talk with the hosts of North American Hunter on Jan 18 at 2 pm and rub elbows with the stars of Wild Game Nation on Jan 19 at 2 pm. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to meet the folks who hunt for a living and live every hunter’s dream.

Kowa will also have on display its two newest bino series, the YF (30-6X/8x) and SV (32-8X /10X, 42-8x/ 10x, 50-10x/12x). Cost effective with superior optical performance, both binos feature fully multi-coated lenses and prisms.

The SV Series roof prism is phase coated and has a highly reflective coating that minimizes the loss of light and produces a clear visual range and sharp image. Costs were reduced through simultaneous product development and the implementation of an objective focus mechanism (SV 32/42), but the superior optical performance was maintained without sacrificing important features like being waterproof and dry nitrogen gas filled.

The lightweight, ergonomic design of both binos makes them easy to grip and hold on to even when a serious case of buck fever takes over. The binos are also waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the internal structure from fogging when Mother Nature is at her nastiest. Stop by the booth and see firsthand the quality of craftsmanship that went into both models.
Eric at the Gunmart Blog

United States --(Ammoland.com)- I recently had a box show up at my front door from the good people over at Aimpoint. Inside said box was a sample of one of their tactical red dot sights… the Aimpoint Micro T1.

Aimpoint Micro T1 Sight

Now, I will start off by saying that over the years I have logged a good bit of trigger time with what seems like the entire spectrum of red dots. From the el cheapos to the higher dollar, combat ready models to just about everything in between. However, this would turn out to be the first time that I would actually get to have any range time with any of the products offered by Aimpoint.

My first impression upon opening the box was that it seemed like a pretty solid little unit. Fit and finish is nice, and it just seems really well made when you hold it in your hand and give it the once over. When I held it up to my eye I was literally blown away at the quality of the glass. Its amazingly clear.

If you don’t think that high quality glass is important on a red dot, then you just have not ever used a really good red dot before. High quality glass makes an incredible difference. Especially when shooting at greater distances. The glass on the Aimpoint Micro is without a doubt some of the best that I have ever seen. Clear, sharp, and definitely high quality. Its astounding.

Aimpoint Micro T1 Sight

The other cool thing in that box which jumped out at me was their very well thought out multi-tool. Its designed to be used for tightening the base screws, adjusting windage and elevation, as well as screwing and unscrewing the battery compartment. The windage and elevation can also be adjusted by flipping over the screw caps that cover the adjustment knobs and using them as a“wrench”. The entire thing is just a really well thought out design all the way around.

First on my list for this review was a quick stop at my postal scale to see how micro the Micro really was. Are you ready for this… 2.8 oz. I kid you not. The riser mount that they sent me was also top notch and solid as a rock. It weighed in at miniscule 2.6 oz. Light as a feather would sound cliche, but it may never have been more fitting than this. Needless to say, there is not any noticeable difference in weight when this sight is mounted to a rifle or carbine. The overall size of the sight itself is incredibly small (2.4 inches in length and 1.5 inches in height). When you think about its size in comparison to other optics on the market today, and in relation to where optics were just a few years ago its almost mind boggling.

Aimpoint Micro T1 Sight

After the obligatory photo session, I was off to my friendly neighborhood shooting range for a little practice session. I would not be disappointed. No, I didn’t do any extreme torture testing with this optic… mainly because I didn’t have access to a helicopter from which to throw it out of, but mostly because it would have just been redundant. The Micro has been run hard and abused well beyond the point that any optic should ever be expected to withstand… and it has kept on keeping on.

What I did do with this optic is put it through half a dozen different range sessions which worked out to be just under 1,000 rounds. After getting it initially sighted in there was no loss of zero… ever. I removed and replaced the optic from the rail of my Daniel Defense DDM4 after each and every range trip and not once did it have any effect on it’s zero.

Aimpoint Micro T1 Sight

The riser mount gives a perfect co-witness with standard AR iron sights. The optic also proves to provide very fast target acquisition with both eyes open, but I felt more comfortable closing one eye for more measured shots out at the 100 yard marker.

The dot on this unit is spectacular in any light. Indoors or out. It is a 4 MOA dot with 1x magnification. There are 12 brightness settings and each one is a very precise increment which allows the user to tailor the dot to their own personal needs and wants and for just about any light condition imaginable. In normal inside conditions to even very low light conditions, I used the optic very successfully on the #6 setting. Anything more than that indoors and its just over powering for me… its that darn bright. Outside on the brightest of days you come to really appreciate how bright this optic really is. I went all the way up to the #12 setting on a very bright afternoon, but your eyes and preferences may vary… it certainly is extremely capable even in the brightest of conditions.

The Micro runs on one coin-sized CR2032 3 volt battery which has a run time of an amazing 50K hours – thats over 5 years of continuous use. Wow! It really begs the question as to why there is any reason to ever even turn the darn thing off.

All-in-all this is a spectacular red dot. Street price is somewhere in the +/- $600 range. Its often said that in life you get what you pay for and I think the Micro is a shining example of that. The Aimpoint Micro is without a doubt the Ferrari of Red Dots. Over the years its been torture tested, combat tested, and now Gunmart tested to the point that its clearly worth every penny.

If I personally were going into combat with a red dot optic on my rifle… this is the one that I would want it to be.

*Many more pics Ammoland.com)- American Technologies Network, makers of military, law enforcement, security and outdoor night vision and thermal applications, is introducing the latest product in their ThOR series of thermal optical rifle scopes; the ATN ThOR-320. The ATN ThOR series of thermal imaging scopes are based on the same 320 x 240 high resolution microbolometer core technology used by the US Military and law enforcement agencies. The new ATN ThOR-320 is the smallest, most compact and lightweight in the ThOR series. The ThOR-320 uses forward-looking infrared (FLIR) that detects heat to create the visible image. The ThOR-320 provides extremely clear images through total darkness, fog or smoke. Nothing affects the sensitivity of these mini scopes, neither darkness, camouflage nor bright lights.

The ATN ThOR-320 is available in three different optical powers to suit the mission; 1x, 2x or 3x. The digital zoom option doubles the magnification. The ATN ThOR-320 thermal imaging sight is easy to use with digital controls and menu buttons that provide the user with a variety of aiming reticles, allow for the change in polarity and adjustment of image brightness of optimal image view. The scope also comes with precision digital windage and elevation adjustments and a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail quick release mount. The multipurpose ThOR-320 can also be converted into a compact handheld viewer by removing the mount and adding a hand-strap (included).

ATN ThOR-320 Features:

320 x 240 resolution
Ammoland.com)- Recognizing the explosive growth in 3-Gun competition shooting, Burris has developed a new line of riflescopes built to deliver precision, performance, versatility and shooter confidence.

The new MTAC line offers five new scopes that are designed for the tactical shooters and 3-gun competitors, but are versatile enough for use in the field.

The new MTAC series consists of a 1x-4x 24mm, 1.5x-6x 40mm, 3.5x-10x 42mm, 4.5x-14x 42mm and a 6.5x-20x 50mm. The MTAC 1x-4x 24mm, with its wide field-of-view and illuminated Ballistic CQ 5.56/7.62 reticle is the perfect companion for any AR-style firearm. This scope allows you to quickly and easily engage close targets or take precise aim to 600 yards. For those that want more versatility and confidence for the short-range fast shots, it is also available as a package with the popular FastFireä red-dot reflex sight. Like the 1x-4x scope, the 1.5x-6x 40mm offers an illuminated reticle, but is more suited when longer-range shots are more common.

For the long-range tactical shooter, the MTAC offers three scopes, 3.5x-10x 42mm, 4.5x-14x 42mm and a 6.5x-20x 50mm, all of which have adjustable parallax. All three scopes feature the popular G2B Mil-Dot reticle for precise aiming, distance measurement, holdover and hold off. Additionally these scopes sport the new MTAC Mil-Rad knobs with finger-adjustable/resettable dials for windage and elevation.

The five new riflescopes in the Burris MTAC line offer a generous four inches of eye relief, rubber-coated eyepiece and are made with rugged 30mm tubes. All lenses are precision ground optics that are index matched, multi-coated with the Burris proprietary HiLumeä coating for unsurpassed clear, sharp, high-resolution images.

The new MTAC scope line will be available at retailers in the first quarter of 2012. Suggested retail pricing is: 1x-4x 24mm, $399; 1x-4x 24mm with FastFire, $599; 1.5x-6x 40mm, $399; 3.5x-10x 42mm, $449; 4.5x-14x 42mm, $549; and 6.5x-20x 50mm, $699.
<p
