San Jose, CA --(Ammoland.com)- Real Action Paintball would like to congratulate MN Pro Paintball on a job very well done with their Challenge for Children’s Big Game on June 12th!

The donations are all in now, and the charity game raised $20,037.36 for Children’s Hospitals of Minnesota.

A lot of sick kids will get a lot of great medical attention thanks to the generosity of Twin Cities players, event sponsors, and the hard work of the MN Pro Paintball staff and volunteers!

RAP4 is proud to sponsor this event, joining some top paintball industry names alongside important local businesses. A veritable Christmas Day of prizes and goodies greeted the players as they registered for this epic game, and through special drawings and raffles many lucky players went home with hot new gear – including the RAP4 Land Warrior Wireless Camera system, with which to record all the action of future big games!

This outstanding event was orchestrated by MN Pro Paintball, a premier facility in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Their scenario pit teams from Minneapolis against those from St. Paul in a post-apocalyptic scramble to capture resources following a flood of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. Minneapolis triumphed by a wide margin, trumping St. Paul by 18,000 points (24% of total points).

The donations came in early, and lasted until after the event, with players chipping in a few extra dollars to help Children’s Hospitals of Minnesota and a few awesome patrons writing checks for big money. All in, they made the 3rd annual Challenge for Children’s Big Game the most successful event yet! MN Pro Paintball has raised, after these three events, an outstanding $50,000 for Children’s Hospitals of Minnesota!

They did it with the help of the paintball community, and unwavering local support. RAP4 is proud to sponsor their event, and looks forward to a fantastic 4th Annual Challenge for Children’s on May 20, 2012!

To find the best and honor them with commanding roles in a dynamic scenario, RAP4 joined up with Bandits Splat Paintball and Jungle Island Paintball to stage a scenario game unlike any other.

“SoCal Counterstrike” this May 21st-22nd is a carefully planned mil-sim scenario game that pits two teams of two platoons each against each other in a host of dynamic missions entwined in a storyline you have to play to believe. Teams will win only with the proper application of tactics and teamwork; with leadership and individual skill…just like squads use in real world conflicts to solve tactical problems and destroy their opposition.

Can you eliminate a barricaded opponent who seemingly has all the advantages? Can you hit targets at a dead run, your heart pounding after vaulting hurdles and crawling under concertina wire? Can you direct a covert assault in absolute silence, striking before you’re detected?

Alright. Prove it.

“SoCal Counterstrike” opens on Saturday morning with players mustering with their assigned platoons at one of four different stations around Jungle Island’s scenario paintball super-field. You’ll meet real military and police tactical personnel and rise to meet their challenges on world-class fields. The RPK machine gun was designed as a force-multiplier for the Red Army. The RAP4 Pressure Activated Landmine is a reusable, compressed air powered, simulated landmine. A player stepping anywhere on the four inch diameter pressure plate will release the onboard charge of compressed air into a powder tray, blowing smoke simulation powder around their legs with a dramatic report. You can recess the mine an inch into the ground so it lies flat, and obscure it with a few leaves, or deploy it hastily in the corner of a bunker where they’re likely to stick their foot.

When you need to rig a tripwire to cover a doorway, detonate a charge when a prop is removed, or otherwise surprise your opponents, look into the RAP4 Hand Grenade.

Elmer, New Jersey --(AmmoLand.com)- Real Action Paintball is proud to be part of the HSI Tactical Seminar 2009 in New Jersey. The event took place at Harbor Site International, the premier tactical training venue in Elmer, New Jersey.

HSI presented one of the world’s most experienced security, training, and risk mitigation teams as part of the HSI Seminar. They invited security and police professionals from fifty two departments and tactical teams to join in a weekend-long summit discussing new technology in threat mitigation and less lethal response.

These professionals work the streets and ports of the United States and the capitals of Europe, in Afghanistan and Iraq, and throughout Latin America, the Middle East, the former Soviet Union, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Their participation made the HSI Seminar an overwhelming success!

The SWAT, SRT, and other participants were excited to test and evaluate RAP4′s latest T68 training products. Outstanding for force-on-force tactical training as well as less lethal use in the field, RAP4′s T68 M4-styled compressed air powered carbines were extensively test fired and praised.
