Las Vegas, NV --(Ammoland.com)- SilencerCo is pleased to announce the launch of a groundbreaking new product at the 2012 Shot Show, the 5.56 SAKER.

The most advanced rifle suppressor on the market also has three incredible new features not seen in the industry today: the MAAD Mount; HOPLON Baffle; and TRIFECTA Flash Hider.

The product was introduced at the 2012 Shot Show in Las Vegas this week to an overwhelming response; it was announced today by Joshua Waldron, CEO of SilencerCo.

The 5.56 SAKER is another “gamechanger” product offered by SilencerCo. As the most advanced rifle suppressor on the market with features never before offered in the industry, the 5.56 SAKER has now set the bar for rifle suppressors. The SAKER has an interchangeable front cap feature for different purposes such as a flash hider. The baffles are made from an exotic material that has never before been used or seen in silencers and is approximately 60% stronger than Inconel.

The SAKER has several patent pending technologies that place this suppressor leagues above its competition. Made for durability, accuracy and function, the SAKER is Superior Silence.

The three incredible new features for the SAKER include:

  • MAAD MOUNT – SilencerCo’s “Multiple Accessory Attachment Device (MAAD)” allows you to interchange the SAKER’s mount so that you can attach the SAKER to your preexisting quick detach mount and save hundreds of dollars.
  • HOPLON BAFFLE – This patent pending baffle technology protects the SAKER’s baffles from erosion thus increasing its durability. Much as armor on an armored vehicle deflects the debris from an IED, the Hoplon Baffle deflects debris and cuts down on baffle erosion up to 90%.
  • TRIFECTA RS FLASH HIDER – The TrifectaRS flash hider is the most advanced quick detach mount on earth. The RS stands for Resonance Suppression which is a patent pending technology that keeps the flash hider from ringing like a tuning fork. The TrifectaRS also allows the SAKER to be attached and detached from the rifle quickly with one hand.

The 5.56 SAKER has an MSRP of $1200 with Mount. All the new SilencerCo and SWR Products can be viewed at the 2012 SHOT show at booth #8403 and 8409.

About SilencerCo
SilencerCo was formed in 2008 by Joshua Waldron and Jonathon Shults. Waldron and Shults learned that the military released a solicitation stating it wanted all firearms deployed to be silenced. The most common Veterans Administration medical claim is hearing damage/loss due to gun fire. The second most common VA medical claim was PTSD. Tinnitus, which is a ringing in ones ears due to noise induced hearing damage, is a constant reminder of the event which caused the PTSD. If you can stop the ringing, you can more easily rehabilitate the soldier. Silencers protect the hearing of soldiers, which helps them get back into civilian life sooner or be a more effective soldier while deployed. Besides the benefits to soldiers, Waldron and Shults learned of the many benefits of civilian ownership of silencers. Based on 2011 operations, SilencerCo is now the largest silencer manufacturer in the country for civilians and they are continuing to make progress in acquiring military deals. SilencerCo has created 25 jobs and have done so in the hardest economic times our country has seen for a long time.

SWR Suppressors & Silencerco Launch New Website

Salt Lake City, Utah --(Ammoland.com)- SWR is pleased to announce the launch of the new SWR Website.

This website features product information and specifications, multimedia content, The SWR Blog, links and information to the SWR social media outlets, a dealer locator and an e-commerce store for SWR suppressor accessories and gear.

Go to www.swrsuppressors.com

New at SHOT this year for SWR will be new products including the Spectre II, Warlock II, and Octane 9HD.

The Spectre II retains the legendary stainless steel toughness people expect from a Spectre and has integrated some great improvements. The new Spectre II is quieter than its predecessor, with a newly designed baffle stack that features CTA – Click Together Assembly. CTA Baffles not only made the New Spectre II quieter, it also made it easier to clean by protecting the main tube from the majority of the fouling.

The outside of the Spectre II features improved front and rear end caps which make the Spectre II easier to grip for attaching and detaching as well as easier disassembly. Spectre II also includes the Silencerco O-ring engagement on its 1/2×28 Rimfire threads. When used in conjunction with Silencerco 22Sparrow thread spec and adapters, it will help keep the host weapon threads cleaner and will ensure the Spectre II stays tight on your gun. The Spectre II will fit all 1/2×28 rimfire spec threads to ensure universal use with other manufacturers adapters. The Spectre II also comes in with a lower retail price point of $399.00.

“The Spectre was always a great product and with the introduction of the Spectre II, it’s even better,” says Henry Graham, SWR Director at Silencerco.

The Warlock II is now able to be fully disassembled. The Achilles heel of many rimfire suppressors on the market is you can’t take them apart for cleaning and maintenance. The Warlock II addresses that problem in a super lightweight, aluminum design that uses the same easy to clean CTA – Click Together Assembly baffles used in the Spectre II. Tipping the scale at an Ultra-light 3 oz, the Warlock II is amazingly lightweight for a suppressor with its features and sound reduction levels. Warlock II brings aluminum .22 Rimfire silencers back into relevance with an easy to clean, lightweight, low FRP – First Round Pop design, that sounds even better than it looks and all at a retail price point of $299.00.”

Octane 9 HD now features CTA- Click Together Assembly Baffles similar to the Spectre II / Warlock II. The newly redesigned baffle stack of the Octane 9 HD has been enhanced with greater strength, easier cleaning and better sound reduction levels. For 2012 the Octane HD also accepts Silencerco Osprey pistons to make customer and dealers existing products more versatile. Silencerco / SWR has also designed several fixed thread mounts that will make the Octane HD at home on a Sub Gun in full auto, .300 AAC Blackout or on a pistol. The Octane 9HD has had some great improvements that will make it a true contender in the centerfire handgun suppressor market this year. It will hit retail at an incredible price of $699.00.

All the new Silencerco and SWR Products can be viewed at the 2012 SHOT show at booth #8403 and 8409.
