Fort Chaffee, Arkansas --(AmmoLand.com)- THOR Global Defense Group provided a demonstration of the THOR XM408 at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas’ annual sniper competition. The event brought together sniper teams from the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy to compete against one-another in a week-long event, which ended Friday November 13th.

THOR allowed the teams to test fire the THOR XM408 rifle for target engagement at varying distances. The THOR XM408, which was announced earlier this year, was developed as a collaborative effort between Bill Ritchie’s EDM Arms and THOR staff to create the ultimate in long range shooting systems.

The XM408 rifle is a CNC and EDM machined receiver and bolt with a fully adjustable stock, 30” chrome lined barrel, and 5 round magazine. This exceptional platform which is chambered in .408 CheyTac is capable of effectively engaging targets at distances previously thought impossible.
