EAGLEVILLE, PA --(Ammoland.com)- Streamlight Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting equipment, has introduced the TLR-1 HP (high power) light, featuring enhanced lumen and candela capacity for use with long guns.

The TLR-1s HP provides the same features, as well as strobe capability. Each light is also available in a remote switch model.

The TLR-1 HP and TLR-1s HP both use a shock-proof C4 LED to provide exceptional brightness, including 46,000 candela peak beam intensity and 200 lumens measured system output. The lights also feature a deep dish parabolic reflector which produces a long-range targeting beam while also optimizing peripheral illumination.

“The long-range beam distance of the TLR-1 HP and TLR-1s HP make them essential tactical tools for first responders and military personnel, as well as a very powerful light source that rivals Streamlight’s brightest hand-held lights,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Sharrah.

“They are designed for a wide variety of maneuvers under low-light conditions. The strobe feature of the TLR-1s HP offers the added benefits of being able to signal in the field or disorient targets.”

The new lights can be quickly mounted to a broad range of weapons using Streamlight’s one-handed snap-on/tighten interface, which keeps hands away from the muzzle. The lights mount directly to all MIL-STD -1913 (Picatinny) rails and weapons with Glock-style rails. A key kit with five interchangeable keys is included with each model to securely fit the light to the broadest array of rails.

The TLR-1 HP and TLR-1s HP are also available in models with a remote switch. All models offer a tethered battery door and latch mechanism, which prevent door loss while providing easy battery replacement.

The lights deliver 1.75 hours of continuous regulated run time, and come with two 3 volt, CR123A lithium batteries, with a storage life of 10 years. In addition, the C4 LED is impervious to shock and has a 50,000 hour lifetime.

Both models weigh 5.3 ounces (5.6 ounces with remote switch), measure 4.83 inches in length (5.25 inches with remote switch), and are constructed with 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish. They also feature extensively live-fire tested impact-resistant construction.

The TLR-1 HP and TLR-1s HP are backed by Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. The MSRP ranges from $199.00 to $289.00, depending on the configuration.

Tactical Light Brings C4 LED Technology, Red Laser Sight to Compact Hand Guns.

The new light is designed to provide added versatility for a variety of tactical and home defense uses.

The TLR-4 brings extraordinary brightness to a wide variety of hand guns through the use of C4® LED technology. The light is easily mounted to most standard rail guns using Streamlight’s one-handed, snap-on-and-tighten interface, which allows the light to be mounted safely within seconds.

The TLR-4’s 640-660nm red laser increases the user’s ability to focus on a target, particularly in emergency situations. The light can be deployed in Laser-Only mode to keep the gun on target, in LED-Only mode to provide bright, focused light, or in dual mode which uses both light sources.

The TLR-4 uses a C4 LED that delivers 5,000 candela peak beam intensity and 110 lumens measured system output, and features a textured parabolic reflector that produces a concentrated beam with optimum peripheral light. The light provides a run time of 1.5 continuous hours to the 10% output level in LED-Only or LED and Laser mode, and 11 hours regulated output in Laser-Only mode.

Powered by a single 3 Volt CR2 lithium battery, with a storage life of 10 years, the new light weighs only 2.81 ounces and measures just 2.73 inches in length. It is constructed from a lightweight, impact-resistant engineering polymer.

The TLR-4 features a borofloat high-temperature glass lens and a face cap that is constructed with 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish. A key kit with five interchangeable keys is included to securely fit the light to the broadest array of hand guns of any light on the market.

The TLR-4 comes with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. It has an MSRP of $215.00.
