Taurus International Honored at SFMA Award of Excellence Banquet

MIAMI, Fl --(Ammoland.com)- Taurus International is thrilled to announce that it received two distinguished awards at the South Florida Manufacturer’s Association (SFMA) Award of Excellence banquet gathering on March 24, 2010.

Composed of more than 11,500 manufacturers in south Florida, the SFMA annually recognizes outstanding manufacturers and their employees. More than 300 leading south Florida manufacturers and local media attended the banquet.

Robert G. Morrison, President and CEO of Taurus International, was named 2010 Employee of the Year in the administration and accounting category.

“This singular recognition caught me off guard.” said Morrison, “Noting the high-ranking and dignified competitors in this category I am especially honored to realize the excellence and meaning of this outstanding award.”

Taurus International was also recognized in the 2010 Manufacturer of the Year category, being named one of three finalists, selected from all the manufacturers in the SFMA area. This is the second time Taurus has received this distinction and once again, when observing the other companies that were named, placed Taurus International in distinctive company.
