class="wp-caption-text">AmmoLand Gun News

Manasquan, NJ --(Ammoland.com)- As someone who vividly recalls the Iranian “students” who took our diplomats hostage in 1979 and the 444 days it took to get them back, the repeat of this by the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo, putting 19 pro-democracy, non-government organization (NGO) Americans on trial on trumped up charges has an ugly repetitive feel to it.

The contempt the Iranian revolutionaries, led by Ayatollah Khomeini, had for America and, I might add, international law and practice that goes back centuries, is everything you need to know about dealing with militant Islamists, whether they are in Iran, Egypt, or anywhere else on the face of the Earth.

Just as then-President Jimmy Carter dawdled while looking for a diplomatic response, this same scenario is now being played out by Barack Obama and it won’t work now just as it did not work then. Carter authorized a failed military operation that, by most accounts, was poorly organized and executed.

What is needed now is a Navy SEAL unit or larger force to go in, rescue our American hostages, and extract them from Cairo.

We need direct military action, just as we need direct military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, missile operations, and the barracks of the Revolutionary Guards.

Just as Jimmy Carter was seen as weak, so too is Barack Obama and, for America and the world, that is very bad news. I don’t care if the Iranian leadership and other militant Islamists don’t like America. I want them to fear us.

Apparently they didn’t get the message when the U.S. killed Obama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan, the home city to its military college. While bin Laden was right up the street and around the corner, we are supposed to believe that no one in Pakistan’s military or intelligence structure had the slightest idea. He was living in a large walled compound. Short of buying his own groceries, you’d think someone might have noticed. And, of course, now they are angry at us for killing the man behind the murder of some 3,000 of our citizens, including an attack on the Pentagon!

When the Iranians went into the streets in June 2009 protesting the bogus election of Mamoud Ahmadinejad, Obama’s response was that the U.S. “shouldn’t meddle” in Iran’s affairs. A plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to America in a Washington, D.C. restaurant was discovered and some people might call that “meddling” in our affairs.

This hostage-taking needs boots-on-the-ground action now. The only upside to this event is that the longer it goes on, the same disenchantment that resulted in the defeat of Jimmy Carter will be Obama’s fate in the November election.

The fact that Obama has imposed the largest debt/credit crisis that the nation has ever incurred, unemployment levels that rival the Great Depression, a housing market that is still in the tank, and is busy hollowing out the nation’s military capabilities at the worst possible time seems to gone unnoticed by the forty percent or more of Americans that think he’s doing a swell job.

Our present problem is that Obama does not like America any better than our enemies do. He does not like our Constitution, recently blaming the Founding Fathers for the limitations they wisely imposed to avoid a government grown too large and a president with powers beyond those granted.

This nation is in peril from the same gross stupidity that gripped it prior to World War Two until Pearl Harbor occurred in 1941. The war in Europe had been going on since 1939 and the Japanese had invaded China in 1937.

We are in a new, dangerous era with the chaotic situations in the Maghreb of northern Africa where U.S. assistance, via NATO, was provided to overthrow Gaddafi and Obama’s swift rejection of Egypt’s Mubarack led to his downfall. There are uprisings in Syria and Yemen. It is the result of massive resentment against dictatorial regimes, but the real problem will be how these revolutions turn out.

That is something we cannot control, but we must do what we can to protect American citizens abroad to protect our national interest and to project real national power.

The Middle East is tribal. With the exception of Israel the “nations” we must deal with are merely armies with a national flag, not modern democratic governments responsive to their citizens. That is why Iraq threatens to break apart. It is why the majority Syrians want to end the minority Alawite tribe’s control. It is why Palestinians are not welcome anywhere.

The President’s top intelligence adviser recently told a Senate committee that sanctions are not working against Iran, but the President wants to pretend they are. The U.S. and the rest of the world are waiting for the Israelis to do to Iran what we and our allies should be doing to end its nuclear threat.

Likewise, if we wait around while the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo makes us look like a bunch of punks it will just get worse for us in Egypt and the Middle East just as it did in 1979.

In Egypt we need to get in, break some furniture, shoot some bad guys, get our people out, and then shut off the billion-plus dollar aid spigot.

No more American tourists, no more American aid, and no more Mr. Nice Guy.

c Alan Caruba, 2011

About:
AmmoLand Gun News

Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)- On October 11, 2011, Attorney General Eric Holder held a press conference to announce that FBI and DEA agents had stopped an Iranian plan to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the U.S.

The men behind the plot were “Manssor Arbab Arbabsiar and Gholam Shakuri.” And of these two, only Arbabsiar has been arrested.

The plot became known when Arbabsiar traveled to “Reynosa, Mexico, across the border from McAllen, Texas, and negotiated a $1.5 million payment for the assassination of the Saudi ambassador.”

Unbeknownst to Arbabsiar, the contact he made in Mexico was a DEA informant. And soon thereafter, with the help of the FBI, the DEA office in Houston launched an investigation that appears now to have ended successfully.

It’s important to note there were also bombing plots allegedly associated with these plans. Thus the criminal complaint filed against Arbabsair and Shakuri accused “the men of conspiracy to murder a foreign official; conspiracy to engage in foreign travel and use interstate and foreign commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire; conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction: specifically explosives; and conspiracy to commit an act of international terrorism.”

Ironically, during his press conference on these things, after Holder said the plot was “conceived, sponsored and was directed from Iran,” he actually had the gall to describe crossing international borders to plan and execute crimes as a “flagrant” violation of U.S. and international law.

When he used the word “flagrant,” a few questions arose in my mind:

Was he describing a flagrant violation similar to selling 2,500 weapons to straw purchasers who were going to knowingly pass them to criminals?

Or was he talking about a flagrant violation like we’ve witnessed via the smuggling of those weapons across an international border via gun walking?

Or did he mean flagrant as in the flagrant cover-up of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry’s murder with Fast and Furious weapons?

I am just so confused.

Of course, I don’t expect Holder to answer any of these questions, because I watched him walk out of the room following the press conference as soon as the reporters began asking about Fast and Furious.

Yet I still have one more question that I must ask – If the two Iranians had talked to real Mexican cartel members (instead of DEA agents) and if those cartel members had killed the Saudi Ambassador with guns they acquired via Fast and Furious, would Holder be an accomplice to that murder?

After all, AmmoLand Gun News

Dallas, TX - -(Ammoland.com)- Ten years ago, after 9/11, Americans chanted, “We will never forget.”

Today the White House is chanting that it is not “just about us.”

Terrorism has been tempered and transformed ever since 2009, when President Barack Obama took office and turned the global war on terror into an “overseas contingency operation” and coddled the global Muslim community from Cairo by saying that part of his “responsibility as president of the United States is to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear” and create a “partnership between America and Islam.”

Since those actions, a slew of terrorists have slipped through the cracks of U.S. international and homeland security.

Alex Jones’ Infowars.com recently documented several examples of how the feds have “dispensed with all pretense of the war on terror being focused on Al-Qaeda Muslims.”

In April 2009, The Washington Times reported that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano stood by a DHS intelligence assessment report that “lists returning veterans among terrorist risks to the U.S.” And in the same month, The Wall Street Journal reported that the FBI was running a probe targeting returning veterans as extremists and a major domestic threat.

At the end of last year, an Atlanta station, WSB-TV, reported that “the State Department is sending hundreds of millions of dollars to save mosques overseas.” The anchor noted that the U.S. Agency for International Development granted enormous funds for mosques in Cairo, Cyprus, Tajikistan and Mali.

In March, Judicial Watch obtained new documents via a Freedom of Information Act request that revealed that U.S. officials had apprehended 663 illegal immigrants last year with suspected ties to terrorist groups. Yet our borders and ports remain as porous for illegals as a screen through which gnats slip.

In the same month, ABC News reported that the “U.S. government formally requested the early release of a convicted terrorist (Mohammed Babar) from federal prison, even though the terrorist admitted that he continued to support the killing of U.S. soldiers serving in Muslim countries.”

Just a few weeks ago, as a part of its “If You See Something, Say Something” stoolie campaign, Homeland Security released two videos, in which nearly every segment shows a shift in federal strategy from catching foreign terrorists to targeting white middle-class Americans who are against big government as terrorists, including tea partyers, anti-Fed activists and even veterans. (These videos echo Vice President Joe Biden’s recent remarks that tea partyers are like “terrorists.”)

On Aug. 26, Fox News reported that the State Department is protecting the privacy of terrorists by refusing to release documents about Anwar al-Awlaki, the Muslim cleric who became the first American on the CIA’s kill or capture terrorist list. In response to a Fox News FOIA request for al-Awlaki’s passport records, the State Department replied, “The release of this information to you would be an invasion of personal privacy of another person, without written authorization from that person.”

It’s official: The feds have lost their minds, this time at the cost of forgetting the heart of 9/11 and all the sacrifices made to fight militant Islam since.

Ten years after 9/11, the federal government has become an acute enabler of terrorism. It is suffering from a self-inflicted terrorist amnesia, despite the fact that even in the past two years, there have been 126 terror-related arrests, and all have been Muslims.

With the killing of Osama bin Laden and President Obama’s recent order to withdraw more troops from Afghanistan, it appears that the feds soon will be raising the banner that the “overseas contingency operation is mission complete.”

But what they really need is a wake-up call to jar them out of their terrorist amnesia!

We should plant the feds in the heart of Afghanistan and have them seriously reconsider al-Qaida’s assault on America and exactly how and why our courageous troops and their families continue to sacrifice for us — something well-documented by film producer Mike Slee in his most recent film tribute to our service members and their families as a part of Operation Patriot Care Package, highlighted on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Channel show and on Slee’s own website, http://ZaragozaPictures.com.

Unfortunately, this terrorism amnesia has spread outside Washington and infected such officials as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has decided that a ground zero commemoration for the victims of 9/11 on the attack’s 10th anniversary will be held without prayer. Neither clergy nor first responders have been invited to the event, because Bloomberg apparently thinks politicians will be sufficient to comfort the still-grieving families and nation. Please sign the Family Resource Council’s petition to Bloomberg to reverse his decision and recognize that prayer is needed more than politics.

Bloomberg needs to take a lesson from people like Rosellen Dowdell, the widow of Lt. Kevin Dowdell, who was a New York firefighter who gave up his life on 9/11. She told the Catholic News Service: “I’ve never blamed God. I’ve always looked to God for an answer. I guess I always hoped there was solace in going to church and being in the presence of God.”

Similarly, Monsignor Michael J. Curran told CNS: “So many of these families, who have every reason to be angry at God, have not given up. They are still faithful. I’m more aware of the spiritual strength of people. Folks are not fair-weather friends of God. The question of ‘why?’ is still out there, but they are willing to trust God and keep him at the center of their lives. Nobody has just slammed down their bat and ball and gone home.”

Ten years ago, in the wake of the worst terrorist attacks in our nation’s history, Americans turned to one another and God for help and comfort. The wise still seek him. They know the truth — as did most of America’s Founding Fathers — in Psalm 33:12: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

God bless and help all the victims of 9/11, from United Flight 93 to the Pentagon and New York and beyond, and may the real memory of 9/11 live on in our hearts and minds so that even our posterity will say, “We will never forget.”

NRA - ILA

Charlotte, NC --(Ammoland.com)- Anti-gun groups have been quick to exploit last week’s al-Qaeda video in which Adam Gadahn, an American-born militant on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorists” list, calls on followers in the United States to buy firearms and attack major institutions and public figures.

On June 7, the Brady Campaign, the Violence Policy Center, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, the Legal Community Against Violence, and States United to Prevent Gun Violence wrote to President Obama, urging him “in the strongest terms to order an immediate and thorough review of steps the Administration can take in the short term to reduce the firepower available on the civilian gun market, to tighten existing laws regulating the gun industry, and to improve the background check system to make it harder for those with terrorist ties to obtain firearms.”

Of course, it’s never surprising that anything even remotely related to firearms inspires these anti-gun groups to promote whatever unrelated issues were already at the top of their agenda. And it’s even less surprising that the groups’ preferred initiatives would have no more effect on a committed terrorist than they’ve ever had on domestic criminals:

Terrorists around the world have never lacked for “firepower,” no matter how harsh the laws in the countries they’ve attacked. India’s strict laws, for example, failed to stop the deadly attack on Mumbai.

Even if private gun sales in the U.S. were banned, terrorists – like common domestic criminals – could simply use straw purchasers who can pass background checks, or could rely on stolen guns and other black market sources.

Legislation to arbitrarily deny sales to persons on the “terrorist watchlist” would be useless against Gadahn’s target audience of “lone wolf” attackers with no previous ties to terrorist organizations.

Fully automatic “assault weapons” cannot be purchased over the counter.

Ironically, Gadahn’s call for “lone wolf” attacks may itself be a sign of his group’s decline. As the private intelligence firm Stratfor said in an analysis of the video, earlier al-Qaeda communications “suggested that militants who answered the call would be trained, equipped and put into the field of battle under competent commanders,” while the more recent calls for would-be terrorists to go it alone “may be an admission of defeat and an indication that the jihadists might not be receiving the divine blessing they claim.”

About:<br

Osama’s plight of terror is finally terminated, so we decided to document the timeline of his rise to terror and then ultimate death at the hands of United States troops. He was killed on May 6th, 2011, and it was a long time in the waiting. Special thanks to KillerInfographics for helping us create this page.
Tags: Virginia Citizens Defense League

Covington VA --(Ammoland.com)- A South African man’s story on a real life gun fight with terrorists told at VCDL meeting last week

Last week’s VCDL membership meeting in Annandale had an excellent guest speaker: Charl Van Wyk, who saved countless lives back in 1993 because he was able to shoot back at some terrorists who attacked a church he was attending.

The terrorists came in with nail-encrusted grenades and fully-automatic AK47s, intent on a full fledged massacre.

What Charl did back then was extremely courageous. When the attack started with grenades and AK rounds flying into the church during a service, Charl drew his gun, a snubby .38 Special revolver with 5 shots and no reloads, and fired two shots at the attackers at the front of the church. Charl was sitting near the back of the church when the attack started and he was unsure if his gun’s accuracy was sufficient to actually hit the terrorists at that range, but he had to try anyway.

After firing the two shots, Charl exited the church through a back door. At that point, most people would have run for the hills and called the police. But not Charl, he ran around the outside of the building, hoping to come in the front door and shoot the terrorists in the back with his last 3 bullets. The were four terrorists for his three bullets, so he had a problem, but that didn’t concern him.

As Charl came around the corner, he spotted a lookout and the getaway driver out by the car, the lookout with an AK47 on his hip, pointing up in the air. Charl believes that the lookout was watching for Charl to come out the front door so he could be executed. As it was, Charl was coming up behind him!

Charl opened fire, sending his last 3 rounds towards the terrorists by the getaway vehicle. At that point the other terrorists came running out of the church and they all fled in the getaway vehicle.

It turned out that Charl had actually hit one of the terrorists with his first two shots in the church. The terrorists were already spooked by that and his last 3 shots from the parking lot was the last straw (lucky for Charl).

The terrorists had superior numbers and superior firepower, yet they were intimidated by a man with a 5 shot .38 Special snubby! With Charl firing at them from inside the church and then from behind in the parking lot, the terrors probably thought there were multiple defenders!

Guns do indeed Save Lives
One of the terrorists later said that they had picked that church to attack believing that no one would be armed, and that they were greatly surprised when rounds started coming their way , striking one of them only seconds into their assault.

For those interested in learning more about the story, Charl has a book and a DVD available here: www.superstore.wnd.com/SALES/BUNDLES/The-Shooting-Back-Bundle_2

Charl is a Christian missionary and part of the book and DVD deals with him coming to grips with religion and the right, and the requirement, to protect innocent life.

Executive member Ian Branson filmed Charl’s presentation at my request, as I had heard from many of you who could not make the meeting, but wanted to see the presentation.

Thanks to Ian for a great job video taping and editing the presentation and to Charl for sharing it with us:

About:
National Animal Interest Alliance Trust

Portland, Oregon --(AmmoLand.com)-We owe a debt of gratitude to the hard work of grassroots members like you.

Time and again you have taken time out of your day to defend pet ownership and stand up for reasonable laws governing animal ownership in your state — and nationally.

If the firestorm of radical legislation in 2009 is any indication, 2010 promises to be even more intense. This year we spent the lion’s share of our time fighting over 75 radical bills across the country, backing two important lawsuits to protect pet owner rights and supporting NAIA’s ongoing programs. We’ve devoted every spare moment to gearing up for next year, a year we think could be a defining moment in the battle against animal rights extremism.

We have our work cut out for us. The rising level of legislative activism is part of a coordinated strategy aimed at achieving the animal liberationists’ goals, namely “… to inflict economic loss on people who [according to the animal rights doctrine] exploit animals … and to escalate events to a point where all of these industries are under threat and can’t operate.”

Since summer we’ve seen draft after draft of potential ballot box initiatives and scores of state and federal bills slated for the 2010 session. Even more foreboding is the deluge of high-tech TV ads featuring gut-wrenching images of suffering animals, along with “big lie” allegations about who’s to blame and Siren song appeals. The timing of this sophisticated propaganda campaign carefully lays the groundwork for the upcoming session. Like well-aimed artillery, these ads are being launched over and over to soften up targets, to break down defenses and to saturate the audience with imagery and ideas so twisted and volatile that when the time comes, only the slightest legislative spark will be needed to ignite them.

So this year, in addition to our core responsibilities, we’ve been working overtime to gear up, to strengthen our alliances, develop new resources, and to be ready for the coming year. NAIA is excited to be proposing proactive legislation in 2010 in key states that will actually improve conditions for animals, not advance some subversive agenda. We feel emboldened by our progress and better positioned than ever before, but we must have the full engagement of our grassroots to succeed. We need you to volunteer, and we need your financial backing.

With your help, and continued advocacy, we will be ready for the Big One and prepared to take on anything that threatens to take away choices and harms responsible animal ownership in America.

Thank you once again for your commitment, and may you have a safe and happy holiday season!

Sincerely,

Patti Strand

National Director and Board Chairman

National Rifle Association

New York, NY - -(AmmoLand.com)- In another transparent attempt to undercut the Second Amendment fresh on the heels of his hidden-camera attack on gun shows, Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, has alleged that the terrorist attack resulting in multiple murders that took place on Ft. Hood recently could have been prevented by changes in federal gun laws.

In an ad in the Washington Post on Monday, Bloomberg’s group claimed that the Ft. Hood terror suspect’s “gun purchase could have been key to the FBI’s investigation into his association with terrorists.”

Incredible
It has already been reported that before the suspect purchased the gun allegedly used in the murders, the FBI knew that between December 2008 and June 2009, he had sent 16 emails to a radical Islamic cleric based suspected of having ties to al-Qaeda. In one, he told the cleric that he could not wait to join him in the afterlife.

Nevertheless, after reviewing the e-mails, the FBI and other federal agencies concluded that the suspect was not a threat, and it has since concluded that the crimes of which he is suspected were not part of organized terrorism.

On November 9, the FBI stated

“Major Hasan came to the attention of the FBI in December 2008 as part of an unrelated investigation being conducted by one of our Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTFs). JTTFs are FBI-led, multi-agency teams made up of FBI agents, other federal investigators, including those from the Department of Defense, and state and local law enforcement officers. . . . Investigators on the JTTF reviewed certain communications between Major Hasan and the subject of that investigation and assessed that the content of those communications was consistent with research being conducted by Major Hasan in his position as a psychiatrist at the Walter Reed Medical Center. Because the content of the communications was explainable by his research and nothing else derogatory was found, the JTTF concluded that Major Hasan was not involved in terrorist activities or terrorist planning. . . . [T]he investigation to date indicates that the alleged gunman acted alone and was not part of a broader terrorist plot.”

Bloomberg says that if the federal law requiring the FBI to purge the NICS system of records of approved gun purchasers had not been in place, the FBI would have known that Hasan had bought a gun and changed its judgment about him. But while few Americans exchange e-mails with radical clerics suspected of ties to al Qaeda, there are about 12 million NICS firearm checks annually.

To Bloomberg, apparently, buying a gun is reason enough to be suspicious.

Bloomberg also says that Congress should approve legislation introduced by, long time gun banner, Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), to allow Americans placed on the FBI’s terror watchlist to be prohibited from buying firearms, but to deny them the right to confront their accusers and the “evidence” against them. Both concepts received a nod from the Obama Administration on November 18. During hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) asked Attorney General Eric Holder whether the administration supported legislation to allow to FBI to retain NICS gun purchase records, and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) asked Holder whether the administration supported legislation “closing” the so-called “Terror Gap.” Holder responded in the affirmative on both counts.

You would think that someone who can spend $200 million of his own money to get elected mayor of New York City three times could afford copies of the U.S. Code and the Constitution. Not only does federal law stipulate the specific grounds for denying a person the right to arms, the Fourteenth Amendment states that no one shall be deprived of liberty without due process of law.

And while he is at it, he could buy a copy of another well-known publication, Webster’s Dictionary, and look up the word “obsession.”

To see Bloomberg’s Washington Post ad, and whether your town’s mayor is allied with his group, see www.mayorsagainstillegalguns.org/downloads/pdf/terror_gap_ad.pdf.

About:
Outdoors Magazine

Bennett’s Pond, CT --(AmmoLand.com)- According to the Connecticut Post, earlier this month, a bowhunter in Bennett’s Pond State Park fired a shot which mortally wounded a deer. As any hunter knows is often the case, the deer didn’t immediately go down and ran a short distance before collapsing.

The hunter tracked the deer. He soon saw that it ran onto private property. Being responsible, he knocked on the landowner’s door and asked for permission to retrieve it. It turns out the property is owned by Lynn Gorfinkle, the CEO of the Animal Rights Alliance in Redding, Conn.

“My husband told him to just go away, he couldn’t have the deer,” Gorfinkle said.

Lynn and other animal-rights proponents argue that killing deer is not the answer to Connecticut’s over-population issues. They feel nature should be allowed to take its course to control deer numbers.

Biologists say that over 62 deer per square mile reside in some of the state’s urban areas.

The sad part of the situation is that the carcass remains in the Gorfinkles’ yard, where it has been since October 2. Lynn hopes that other animals will eat it because it is too big to bury.

“If someone’s going to eat that deer, I want it to be natural predators, not some hunter,” she said.

Ironically, Gorfinkle’s actions may mean the death of another deer.

“Since the hunter did not recover the deer, he did not need to tag it and it doesn’t count toward his bag limit,” said Dennis Schain, Connecticut’s DEC communication director.

To ready more outdoor stories, and to find out how to win a Suzuki ATV, visit www.outdoorsmagazine.net

About:
(AmmoLand.com)-Global warming alarmists want Americans to believe that humans are killing the planet. But Not Evil Just Wrong, a new documentary by Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney, proves that the only threats to America (and the rest of the world) are the flawed science and sky-is-falling rhetoric of Al Gore and his allies in environmental extremism.

The film drives home the realities of that extremism. “Turn off your lights. Turn off your heat when you get cold. Turn off your air when you get hot,” one man on the street says. “And then think about that.”

Not Evil Just Wrong warns Americans that their jobs, modest lifestyles and dreams for their children are at stake. Industries that rely on fossil fuels will be crippled if the government imposes job-killing regulations on an economy already mired in recession. Small towns in the heartland, like Vevay, Ind., will become bastions of unemployment and poverty. Breadwinners like Tim McElhany in Vevay will lose their jobs — and will have to start borrowing money again just to buy bread for their families.

The damage that would be wrought is unjustified by the science. Not Evil Just Wrong exposes the deceptions that experts, politicians, educators and the media have been force-feeding the public for years. Man-made pollution is not melting the polar icecaps. The ocean will not rise 20 feet in a flash. And the only polar bears dying because of man are the ones who try to eat men.

McAleer and McElhinney debunk what for a time was the environmental movement’s most powerful weapon of disinformation, the infamous “hockey stick” graph that attributed a supposedly unique burst of warming in the 20th century to humans. They also shatter the myth that the hottest years in the United States were 1998 and 2006. The hottest year was 1934, and the hottest decade was the 1930s — when there were half as many people and no SUVs or jumbo jets.

But environmentalists like actor Ed Begley Jr. and Leo Murray of Plane Stupid, who appear in the film, won’t tell you that. Instead, Begley sheds phony tears for ex-cons who are offered “green” jobs, and Murray decries air travel as the modern world’s worst indulgence. Their hysterical claims have fooled many people into believing that carbon dioxide, an element that is essential to life, is poison.

Organizations like Greenpeace, whose excesses are roundly condemned in Not Evil Just Wrong by founding member Patrick Moore, persistently push the same kind of propaganda that prompted world leaders to ban DDT. They believed environmentalist Rachel Carson’s doomsday scenarios about the mosquito-killing chemical, and millions of children in the Third World may have been infected by malaria and died as a result.

The documentary notes that the World Health Organization lifted its ban on DDT in 2006, but Al Gore and his allies will not accept that verdict any more than they will accept the science that discounts theories about global warming. They are determined to blame humans for everything.

People all across the world will be watching NJOA – New Jersey Outdoor Alliance is the state’s first major political action committee devoted to the task of electing outdoor-minded candidates to public office.
NJOA has formed with the support of leaders of major pro-hunting, pro-angling, and pro-trapping organizations. We are not a hunting, fishing, or trapping “club” or “group,” and do not compete with the interests of such organizations. NJOA helps to ensure that strong wildlife and natural resource protection laws are produced by outdoor-minded elected officials. The best way to ensure a “conservation presence” in Trenton is to support the election campaigns of representatives who understand the relationship between a balanced ecology and hunting, fishing, and trapping.
Tags: Ammoland.com)- Evil men attacked the U.S.A. on September 11, 2001.

It was a day in hell for all of us. An unthinkable attack by sick, satanic, evil cowards.

I had off that day and was sleeping late when my wife called and told me to turn on the TV. I turned on my television, and saw the 1st twin tower on fire. Just a few minuets later I watched as the second plane flew into the tower. It was horrifying. I was shocked, numb, in disbelief, deeply saddened, and greatly angered. I had been in the towers many times.

I only live 45 minuets just outside New York City, down the jersey shore. I had friends and family working in Manhattan that day. My brother was working in a law office in Manhattan at the time, luckily for all of us he did not go into work that day. Many people who live in my town were killed by these twisted terrorist.

The town where I live is the last stop on the train line out of NY City. The thought of cars covered with flowers in the train parking lot for friends and neighbors that did not make it home to their family’s still makes me choke up and feel emotional.

As I stood on the beach that evening with my then six year old daughter I can still remember seeing the vast plumes of smoke drifting out across the ocean to the north of us and the hushed, shocked, talk of adults while children laughed and played in the warm September surf completely unaware of an event that would change America and not for the better.

God bless our missing friends and family. You are in our hearts and prayers.
<div
