Pike County, IL. --(Ammoland.com)- Whitetail Properties nationally broadcast Whitetail Properties TV took home a 2011 Sportsman Choice Award for Best Animal-Whitetail Deer last week during the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) show.

The award was presented Wednesday, Jan. 18 in front of the industry’s leading producers, personalities and sponsors during the Sportsman Channel’s annual awards ceremony at Pure Nightclub in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas.

Sportsman Channel narrowed the field to five finalists in each of the seven award categories, and the voice of 140,000 American sportsmen selected the winners by logging on to cast their votes.

Hosted by Dan Perez and produced by November Studios, Whitetail Properties TV is unique in outdoor programming, utilizing the essence of land ownership. Each episode features the sport of hunting monster whitetails, a most popular hunt breakdown segment and property showcase to entertain and educate the fans.

Whitetail Properties TV is moving into its sixth season and airs at 8 p.m. E/P every Tuesday during The Realtree Hunting Camp block. Gabe spotted this massive 188 ⅞ non-typical a few times in the off-season and caught him over the late-summer months on his Reconyx cameras as he planned the perfect set-up.

Having well-managed land and proper planning that includes pre-hunt preparations and hunting only when the conditions are perfect is in Gabe’s DNA. Doing it right leads Gabe to drawing this trophy of a lifetime on a mid-November hunt more than 400 yards across a perfect patch of Iowa farmland.

This episode, about this exceptional animal, has earned Whitetail Properties TV two nominations for the Sportsman Choice Awards 2011, presented by the Sportsman Channel.
