The “Panthera Fighter” by David Broadwell
We are pleased to announce the availability of our latest Wilson Combat Custom Alliance from the peerless hand of David Broadwell, the new Panthera Fighter. Using some of the most unique materials and finest craftsmanship on earth, this “Big Cat” will be a unique addition to any collection of fine handmade knives.

The blade of the lightning-fast Panthera Fighter is hand ground and finished from ELMAX stainless, a Swedish powdered metal “super” steel with amazing toughness and wear resistance that also takes a flawless hand-satin finish. The contoured handle is likewise unique and is masterfully crafted from a block of rare and beautiful Hawaiian stabilized Koa wood. Koa is a tough wood and often exhibits chatoyancy, an optical condition when wood grain exhibits a shimmering three-dimensional character. Hand textured titanium pins add a high-tech, rugged accent.

Berryville, AR --(Ammoland.com)- Designed by noted tactical knifemaker Allen Elishewitz and made in the U.S.A. of premium materials by Hogue, the new Star-Light is the toughest lightweight tactical folder on the market today.

The unique, over-sized button lock provides amazing security and smooth function under any field condition without sacrificing any speed of opening.

Weighing in at four ounces, the Star-Light is a joy to carry in any type of attire or situation.

The Star-Light tactical drop point blade is ground from premium U.S.A. 154-CM stainless steel, cryogenically tempered and noted for its toughness. The edge is honed to a polished, razor-like finish and rides on a hardened, oversize pivot for glassy smooth operation.

A deep pocket carry clip, reversible for tip-up or tip-down carry is standard as well as a recessed lanyard loop. A robust semi-auto safety has also been engineered into the Star-Light and when pushed in the forward position will automatically “double lock” the blade upon opening for extra, added cutting security. This is truly a fail-safe tactical folder.

The exclusive Wilson Combat Starburst grip pattern locks the Star-Light into your grip and also adds ideal traction to the pocket clip for perfect retention. The perfectly mated handles are machined from Hogue’s proprietary G-Mascus G-10 laminate that is lightweight yet practically indestructible and has a unique Damascus-style pattern running through the material. Ambidextrous thumb studs enable fast, fluid opening with either hand.

A Wilson Combat grip medallion identifies the knife as a Wilson exclusive that you will be proud to carry along with your custom pistol.

Light, Smooth, Tough are all hallmarks of this outstanding new collaboration.

Specifications:

  • Blade – U.S.A. 154-CM Stainless Steel – HRC 57-59
  • Blade Length – 3.5”
  • Blade Thickness – .150”
  • Handle Material – Black G10 Fiber with G-Macus Pattern
  • Handle Length – 4.5”
  • Overall Length – 8”
  • Weight – 4.2 oz.
  • Also available in a 4” tanto blade style.
