For now, the company’s most innovative waterfowl load is busy taking down prestigious awards.
Just days after being named “Top Choice” for duck hunting by Field and Stream magazine, Blind Side waterfowl ammo has been named “Editor’s Choice” as the top overall ammo in the 2011 “Ammo of the Year” awards from Outdoor Life.
The awards cover four ammunition categories: shotgun, centerfire rifle, handgun and rimfire. One round is chosen as the “Ammo of the Year” in each category and the overall winner is declared “Editor’s Choice.” Blind Side won the shotgun category and the top overall title. Winchester Varmint LF in .17 HMR also won the rimfire category, making Winchester Ammunition the only manufacturer to win multiple categories.
