This year’s championship was again designated as the Steel Shoot Series Northeast Regional Match.” World Class Steel would like to thank Mike Calloway, Director of the Steel Nationals, for his help in securing this designation once again for this year’s Speed on Steel Championship

The Speed on Steel Championship is the largest static steel match on the East Coast and historically has a prestigious Prize Table each year thanks to the generosity of its many local and shooting-sports industry sponsors. Included in our list of sponsors for this year’s championship are some of the top leaders in the shooting industry and we wish to again publicly thank them all. In addition to the many various sponsor-donated prizes such as, by not limited to, sights, reloading equipment, cleaning equipment, gun cases, holsters, mounts, bullets, slides, knives, eye and ear protective devices and steel targets, this year’s Shooters Raffle included 22 firearms along with five other firearm awards for a merchandise prize value that totaled more than $35,000.00.

In addition, performance awards, based on order-of-finish, included more than $8,000.00 in cash.

From its first match many years ago, to quote John Perciballi, Director of Match Development, “Thanks to our generous firearms sponsors, a World Class Steel match has always been a match ‘…that gives away guns, lots and lots of guns!”

This year’s extensive array of firearms were donated by STI International, Glock, Springfield Armory, FNH USA, Mossberg, Limcat Custom, Cobra Firearms, Hi Point Firearms and Beretta USA. A full listing of all of our generous sponsors will soon be available at our website, www.WorldClassSteel.com along with photos of the weekend’s championship competition.

Also, it is important to note that Mike Gibson Manufacturing was again a match sponsor and MGM is the steel target supplier for all World Class Steel events as it has been since the first World Class Steel match held in 2001.
