Gun Buying Before Obama:
Gun sales across the country have exploded in the past week and even the national media have now noticed the rush to be “grandfathered” before the Democrats start working on their agenda. Can’t say I didn’t warn you that it was time to buy an AR. The politically aware are also snapping up high-cap magazines and the handguns that accept them. There are still some rebates in effect for high cap handguns, but we don’t know how long that will last with the rush to buy. Check one series of rebate incentives on the home page of

Time to be Vigilant, Time to Join:
Registrations of new NRA members have also exploded through the offer on our website. That’s my standing offer to pay $10 toward the annual cost of your new membership if you use the web link to sign up. It’s also worth signing up as a new member with the Gun Owners of America. That organization has been a partner of the NRA in the court battles being waged across the country to defend and enforce the protections of the Second Amendment.

The Gun of the Month Contest:
While all the gun buying is going on, we’re about to give a gun away. The S&W i-Bolt for October is about to go to somebody who got at least one answer right last month. Somebody will get a call from Tennessee today. You and I could be talking about your new rifle for gun season.

Veterans Day:
Take a few moments out of your busy day to thank those who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy. If your town has a parade, show up and applaud the vets and the active duty troops who will be marching. Or just make it personal, stopping a uniformed soldier on the street to express your thanks.
