Jackson Shooting Range Offers Residents a Chance to Take First Shots

JACKSON, Tennessee — Jackson Indoor Range and Training Center is offering area residents a free introduction to shooting and firearm safety.

A free First Shots® seminar will be held Saturday, November 15, at the range located at 2310 North Highland Ave., Jackson. Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required by contacting the range at 731-668-2007.

Designed for first-time shooters, the seminar includes both classroom and range time.

First Shots® is an introductory program that provides the public with opportunities to give shooting a try. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and hosted by independent shooting facilities, First Shots provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to shooting by qualified range operators and instructors that includes firearm safety, local ownership requirements, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how and where to continue.
