Boo Weekley to Promote Leupold® Optics
BEAVERTON, Ore. – Leupold & Stevens and professional golfer Boo Weekley have teamed to promote the company’s sports optics in 2009.
An avid hunter, Weekley is a popular player on the PGA Tour and Ryder Cup hero for the United States. He will serve as a spokesman for Leupold’s® hunting/shooting optics and GX golf rangefinders in advertising and public relations campaigns.
“I’m excited to work with Leupold in 2009,” Weekley commented. “As a hunter, I understand and appreciate the quality of their products while I am in the field, and it is great to be able to work with them as they enter the golf market, as well.”
“We look forward to sponsoring Boo and welcome him to our marketing team,” said Andy York, Leupold’s vice president of sales and marketing. “As a passionate hunter who also happens to be one of the finest and best-known golfers on the planet, Boo will help tell the world about the superb optical performance and ruggedness of Leupold products.”
The 2009 Leupold line features new VX-3 riflescopes and new Northfork, Olympic and Rogue binoculars for hunting/shooting enthusiasts, as well as the GX rangefinders for golfers.
