Invitation to SHOT Show Press Conference: Boone and Crockett Club

Boone and Crockett Club – -( Please join us for an important update to the recent White House Conference on North American Wildlife Policy. Held in October in Reno, Nev., this was the first White House-convened major summit on conservation since Theodore Roosevelt’s conference in 1908. The goal of the 2008 gathering was to collect vital and broad-based input as a final step in a process to draft a 10-year Recreational Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Plan. This blueprint for the future will be given a Presidential Seal demonstrating federal commitment to hunting heritage and wildlife conservation, then passed to the Obama administration. The SHOT Show press conference will update the media on the process, progress, outcomes and next steps for this important conservation measure.
