Sturm, Ruger & Company – -(AmmoLand.com)- Announces the introduction of three Ruger® M77® Hawkeye® Predator rifles designed for predator and varmint hunting and available in .223 Rem., .22-250 Rem. and .204 Ruger calibers.

With their green and brown laminate stocks and Hawkeye Matte Stainless barrel and receiver, the Ruger M77 Hawkeye Predator rifles are distinctive in appearance and functional in all weather conditions. The rifle chambered in .223 Rem. features a 22″ barrel, while the .22-250 Rem. and .204 Ruger caliber rifles come equipped with 24″ barrels. The .223 Rem. And .22-250 Rem. rifles weigh approximately 7.75 pounds, and the .204 Ruger rifle weighs approximately 8 pounds.

The Ruger 2-stage target trigger, designed for precise shot placement, and the full-length medium weight barrels deliver long-range accuracy. Other key features of the M77 Hawkeye rifles include Mauser-type controlled feeding and a powerful claw extractor, 3-position safety, and hammer forged steel barrels. Ruger patented scope rings (provided at no charge) install on the integral mounts that never shoot loose.

The .22-250 Rem. model has a capacity of four rounds, while the .223 Rem. and .204 Ruger models both hold five cartridges. The design of the patented steel floorplate, which bears the distinctive Ruger logo, provides easy unloading and eliminates accidental “dumping” of ammunition.
