‘Buck the Recession’ with The Sportsman Channel at The Cable Show
Visit Network’s Show Booth to Earn Money and Contribute to Charitable Cause.
New York, NY — -(AmmoLand.com)- The Sportsman Channel (TSC) is giving show participants a chance to earn real money and contribute towards a charitable cause in its “Buck the Recession” game located in the network’s booth (# 3347) during The Cable Show this week in Washington, D.C. The Sportsman Channel’s “Buck the Recession” game will be open Wednesday from 3-5pm, Thursday from 2-4pm, and Friday from 1-3pm.
Participants enter a “money machine” and attempt to catch and collect blowing dollars during a 15-second period. Participants keep the money they collect. The Sportsman Channel will match each dollar and donate to the Capital Area Food Bank. Every dollar donated to the food bank equates to three meals. The Sportsman Channel hopes to donate enough money to provide more than 7500 meals.
“We wanted to offer a light-hearted and fun take on today’s economic environment, while contributing to a worthy cause,” said Mark Kang, VP of Affiliate Relations for The Sportsman Channel. “We encourage affiliates to drop by our booth, help raise money, and earn a little pocket change. Who knows, maybe we’ll be buying your coffee, lunch or dinner…depends on how much you can grab. And we’ll gladly match your amount with the hopes of feeding hundreds, possibly thousands, of the area’s needy.”
