Hunter Safety Course Offered In Bay County FL
Florida – -(OutDoorWire.com)- The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is offering a free hunter safety course in Bay County.
The course will be at Gulf Coast Community College, 5230 West U.S. 98 in Panama City. Instruction will take place in the Gibson Lecture Hall in the Student Union East building from 6-9 p.m. March 20, and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. March 21. The range portion of the class will be March 22.
Individuals who have taken the Internet course and wish to complete the classroom portion must bring the online completion report and attend only the March 20 class from 6-10 p.m. and the March 22 range day.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Students are encouraged to bring a pencil and paper with them to take notes.
An approved hunter safety course is required for anyone born on or after June 1, 1975 to purchase a Florida hunting license. The FWC course satisfies hunter safety training requirements for all other states and Canadian provinces.
