Kansas – -(AmmoLand.com)- The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks launched a new daily video program March 2 called Kansas Outdoors Today.

Kansas outdoor news and resource information will be covered in all aspects by short, news-style video clips on the Kansas Wildlife and Parks website, kdwp.state.ks.us.

The program, which features a new two-to-three minute video each weekday, will highlight such outdoor topics as wildlife, recreation, outdoor issues, resource management, and public lands.

Mike Blair, long-time photographer and associate editor of Kansas Wildlife and Parks magazine, will travel across Kansas filming and hosting the daily program.

Kansas Outdoors Today represents Kansas Wildlife and Parksโ€™ commitment to bring up-to-date news and information directly to the public via the Internet.

Programming is diverse, with the first weekโ€™s topics ranging from urban geese problems, to a new hatchery technique promising bigger reservoir bass and better fishing, to a music video on a turkey hunt.

All videos are archived and will remain available for public viewing at any time on the web page.
