NJ Passes Sunday Bow Hunting Bill
TRENTON, N.J. – -(AmmoLand.com)- The state Assembly has approved a bill that would authorize deer hunting on Sundays with a bow and arrow.
The measure passed Monday would change a New Jersey law banning most types of hunting on Sunday. The original ban was enacted in 1903 and outlawed all Sunday hunting, but has been tweaked over the years to allow for some.
Under the new measure, licensed bow hunters would be allowed to hunt deer on Sundays on private property or on state wildlife management lands during deer season.
The state Senate approved the bill in October, and it now goes to Gov. Jon S. Corzine.
Now we need folks to email the Governor and tell him sign it as you know the fanatical antis are still emailing him to stop it.
