Weatherby Reps Honored for 2008 Sales Achievements
Paso Robles, CA – -(AmmoLand.com)- Weatherby recently presented its annual awards recognizing outstanding sales performance by firms and individuals in its marketing organization.
The awards, based on achievements during 2008, were announced earlier in April at the company’s sales meeting held at Weatherby headquarters in Paso Robles, Calif.
The winners are:
• Representative of the Year—John Ackley, H & G Marketing, Big Lake, Minn.
• Representative Group of the Year—Schooler & Associates, Albany, Texas
• Rookie of the Year—Leonard Wright, Mountain States Sports Marketing, Littleton, Colo.
• Largest Percentage Increase in Sales—Schooler & Associates
• Most New Accounts in 2008—H & G Marketing
“These awards are meaningful because they have a direct relationship with the performance of our company,” noted Brad Ruddell, Weatherby’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Our rating system is based on measurable results, such as dollar-volume increases and order increases, as well as subjective criteria dealing with sales and service performance on a day-to-day basis. Our sales reps do an outstanding job and they deserve a top-notch system of evaluation to ensure the awards truly recognize the best of the best.”
In addition to Ruddell, Weatherby management participating in the event included Ed Weatherby, president; Bruce Dixon, executive vice president/chief financial officer; and John Lutes, national sales manager.
