STREETSBORO, OHIO – -(AmmoLand.com)- Ohio’s wetlands are a marvel of unique plant communities, wildlife inhabitants and fragile landscape. Visitors are invited to join a wetland hike at Tinker’s Creek State Nature Preserve, part of the Natural Areas Discovery Series, on Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m. in Portage County.

This naturalist-led hike will focus on the remarkable wetland complex found at Tinker’s Creek which provides high quality habitat for a number of wildlife, waterfowl and native plant species. Visitors will learn how the value of a wetland and the impact these critical areas have on local ecosystems.

Tinker’s Creek, a 486-acre site, features extensive wetlands and excellent wildlife viewing, including a new trail featuring excellent bald eagle viewing opportunities. For event information, call 440-632-3010.
