WEST COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – -(ShootingWire.com)- EOTAC, makers of the highest quality tactical and discreet garments available to operators, will be hosting a shooting sports clinic Sunday, June 21, at the Carolina Cup IDPA championship at The Range in Oxford, N.C.

The clinic offers competitors the opportunity to reshoot stages from the match but with coaching from Team EOTAC members Dave Harrington, Mark Redl and Tom Yost. This will be the second such clinic. The first was held during the South Carolina IDPA State Championship and was a big success drawing nearly 40 shooters.

“Our first clinic was a hit with shooters, many of which saw dramatic improvement in their scores with the help of our Team EOTAC coaches,” said Yost who serves as captain of Team EOTAC. “We expect an even larger turnout at the Carolina Cup and we’re looking forward to helping more IDPA shooters advance their shooting skills.”

Fernando Coelho, president of EOTAC, explained that the concept of the shooting sports clinic evolved from EOTAC’s involvement in the shooting sports.

“When we started EOTAC we knew the competition shooter, especially in IDPA, would be an important focus for us and that’s why we formed Team EOTAC,” said Coelho. “The clinic is a natural extension of our Team EOTAC program and our way of further supporting the shooting sports.”

The Carolina Cup is one of the biggest IDPA matches and among the most popular. Officials estimate as many as 60 of the 300 competitors could take part in the EOTAC shooting sports clinic.

“We saw the great response shooters had to the clinic held at the South Carolina state match and we think we could see as much as 20% of our competitors taking part in this clinic,” said Scott Ruby, Carolina Cup sponsor coordinator.

“This is the first time we’ve been approached to host this kind of event at the match and I think it will grow to be a very popular part of the match in the future.”

The clinic is offered only to those competing in the match and slots for the clinic are still available. To register for the EOTAC clinic go to www.The-Range.com. To learn more about Team EOTAC and future clinic dates please visit www.EOTAC.com.
