BRADY, Texas — -(AmmoLand.com)- Whitetail and mule deer enthusiasts always give education a warm reception, but there is one seminar in the Lone Star State that is “Hotter Than Hell”…the Hotter Than Hell Deer Seminar held at the Heart of Texas Trophy Whitetail Ranch in Brady, Texas. The event will be held on June 25, 2009, and feature a wide array of topics including deer herd management; deer blinds, bottle-feeding fawns; using GPS to manage a ranch; darting, medicating and transporting deer; fire ant control and much more. Plus, attendees will have chance to win a 2009 Buck Fawn!

Named for Texas’ famed summertime temperatures, the Hotter Than Hell Deer Seminar is co-sponsored by Texas Deer Association, Record Rack Feeds and Heart of Texas Trophy Whitetails. Attendees can discover some of the secrets to producing a 200-inch whitetail buck or simply learn about the fun of raising whitetail deer, one of the fastest growing industries in rural America.

  • 11:15am Using a Dart Gun to Operate Your Breeding Operation by Joe Evridge, Heart of Texas Trophy Whitetails
  • 12 pm Lunch – Best BBQ in Texas, sponsored by Record Rack Deer Feeds
  • 1pm Overall Deer Herd Management by Dr. Dan McBride
  • 2:15pm How to Sell Whitetail Deer by Grant Evridge, Heart of Texas Trophy Whitetails

Owned and operated by Grant and Joe Evridge, the Heart of Texas Trophy Whitetail is located deep in the beautiful heart of Texas, just 3.8 miles east of Brady on FM 714. The facility covers 20 acres and utilizes 12 breeding pens to produce some stellar deer genetics which includes Stickers, 727 Jr., Dreambuck, High Roller and many more.
