Rock Island Auction Company – -(AmmoLand.com)- Three Double Action Revolvers in One Auction:

A) Colt U.S. Army Model 1901 Double Action Revolver
With standard markings and features. Missing lanyard ring. The left side of the frame is marked, “RAC/L.E.B.”. The grips are good with moderate to heavy scratches/dents and a few chips along the lower edge of the butt. The markings are clear and the action is excellent.

B) Smith & Wesson .38 Military & Police Double Action Revolver
Manufactured from 1945 to 1948, with standard markings and features. There is some overall light pitting on the metal surfaces, with the backstrap having developed a brown aged patina. The grips are fair, with the right side exhibiting a few moderate scratches/dents and smoothing out of the checkering.

C) Colt Police Positive Double Action Revolver
Produced from 1905 to 1947, this revolver was manufactured in 1934, with standard markings and features. The backstrap is stamped with the letters, “RY. EX. AGY.” There are a few areas of light scattered spotting on the metal. The grips are fair with the left side exhibiting some moderate to heavy scratches/dents and smoothing out of the checkering. The original blue finish is strong and the markings are clear.
