SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – -(AmmoLand.com)- Smith & Wesson Corp., announced today that the company has finalized its Team Smith & Wesson roster for the 2009-2010 competitive shooting season. In addition to the Smith & Wesson Champions Doug Koenig, Jerry Miculek and Julie Goloski Golob, the company has signed 16 members to round out a full team.

“After reviewing hundreds of applications from our open recruitment process, we have assembled a dynamic team filled with some of the biggest names and most accomplished competitive shooters in the world,” said Tom Kelly, Vice President of Marketing for Smith & Wesson. “Including our Smith & Wesson Champions, the team now consists of 12 world and national champions who will be wearing Smith & Wesson colors while they compete in events throughout the globe. We are also excited to enter the season with a full team of extremely talented women including Julie Golob, Kay Miculek, Annette Aysen, Laura Torres-Reyes, Carrie Jamrogowicz and junior talent Molly Smith. It will be an exciting year for Team Smith & Wesson and we look forward to seeing all of them in the winner’s circle.”

In order to accurately evaluate each applicant, Smith & Wesson developed a cumulative point system to award sponsorships to prospective Team Members.

Selection criteria included but were not limited to match level, performance, experience and exposure. Over the course of last year’s season, Team Smith & Wesson members earned 38 state, 16 regional, 26 national and 14 world level competition titles.

During this year’s competitive season, Team Smith & Wesson is already delivering results, earning high honors at the U.S. Steel Nationals, International Defensive Pistol Association Indoor Nationals, NRA Bianchi Cup and the International Revolver Championship.

The 2009-2010 Team Smith & Wesson roster includes: Team Captain, Julie Goloski Golob, Doug Koenig, Jerry and Kay Miculek, B.J. Norris, Phil Strader, David Olhasso, Curt Nichols, Elliot and Annette Aysen, Craig Buckland, John Bagakis, Jeff Degracia, Gordon Carrell, Bobby McGee, Tony Phan, Laura Torres Reyes, Carrie Jamrogowicz and Molly Smith.

My name is Robert Quaglia I am a retired law enforcement officer. I have carried a variety of Smith & Wessons throughout the years most I purchased and still own to this day. And wifi some day belong to my children. My question is how do I get a application for the shooting team recruitment process.
