South Dakota Sponsors Linden-NSSF Wingshooting USA TV Series
South Dakota – -(AmmoLand.com)- The newest sponsor of the television series Wingshooting USA is the State of South Dakota. Creator-host Scott Linden says the state will leverage tourism marketing dollars to attract hunters to pursue ringneck pheasants and prairie grouse during the critical fall “shoulder” season. South Dakota will also host Scott’s “Awesome Upland Road Trip” blog on the state tourism website. Lead sponsor of the new television series is the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
It’s a sort of homecoming for Linden, who was master of ceremonies for Gov. Mike Rounds’ Invitational Pheasant Hunt last season, and has been hunting in the state for almost a decade. He will return this fall for personal appearances and to record television and radio programs.
South Dakota joins lead sponsor NSSF along with Happy Jack dog health products, Native performance dog food, ESP, Black’s Wing & Clay Waterfowl, TriTronics, artist Ross Young and equipment sponsor Cabela’s. The show launches in late September on In Country TV and Sportsman Channel.
