Ramsey, Minn. – -( Pheasants Forever (PF) and Native® performance dog food have teamed to give Game Fair 2009 attendees more opportunities than ever to learn from the professionals. Pheasants Forever Hill, PF's annual locale at the show, offers seminars from 10 AM to 5 PM daily at the PF/Native® stage featuring Native® dog food's pro staff and PF hunting experts. Game Fair 2009 will be held August 7, 8 & 9 and August 14, 15 & 16 at Armstrong Kennels Ranch in Ramsey, Minnesota.

Native® performance dog food pro staffers appearing at Game Fair 2009 will include Chad & Jodi Hines, Jason Givens, Rick McConico, Sue Barnes, Todd Sterrett and Matt Rossi. This unmatched lineup provides expertise ranging from flushers to pointers. If you have a question about your sporting dog ” from increasing endurance to e-collars ” Game Fair 2009 is the place!

Hunting experts at the PF/Native stage include Bob St.Pierre, PF Director of Marketing and Public Relations and FAN Outdoors radio host, who will be talking public land roosters; and PF's Mark Herwig, Editor of the Pheasants Forever Journal of Upland Conservation. A certifiable wing-nut, Herwig will offer dove hunting tips and tactics, just in time for autumn's earliest opener!

Pheasants Forever also kicks off the 7th Minnesota Build a Wildlife Area campaign at Game Fair 2009. Developed by Pheasants Forever, the Anoka County PF Chapter , Game Fair, and Outdoor News in 2003, the unique campaign raises funds for the acquisition of public wildlife areas. Through the unique Build a Wildlife Area partnership, every dollar raised is tripled through matching grants from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Minnesota's Build a Wildlife Area campaigns have generated over $914,000 and acquired seven new Wildlife Management Areas in Minnesota totaling 2,592 acres, all of which have been transferred to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and are open to the public.

Game Fair 2009 will also be a great opportunity to become a Pheasants Forever member with special membership premiums being offered each day of the show. Annual Pheasants Forever membership includes a year's subscription to the PF Journal, a vehicle decal, membership card and invitation to your local PF chapter event.
