Dead Down Wind

Pleasant Valley, MO – -(AmmoLand.com)-Dead Down Wind®, an industry leader in scent prevention, announced that one lucky bowhunter will get the opportunity to participate in an archery-only bear hunt with television personality and host of Dead Down Wind American Archer, Tom Nelson.

“This is a great chance for any avid hunter to experience the thrill of hunting Canadian bear with a bow and one of the best Canadian outfitters, Rob Nye” commented Tom.

To register go to www.deaddownwind.com. No purchase is necessary but contestants must be eligible for international Canadian travel. This includes a passport and no felonies (DUI included). The non-negotiable dates for this trip-of-a-lifetime are June 15th through the 22nd, 2010.

This is truly a trip of the lifetime!”. Stated Gary Reed of Dead Down Wind. “Most archers have never had the chance to bear hunt or hunt outside the US. Rob Nye, and Tom have hunted together for years. One of the reasons Tom selected this particular hunt and outfitter is the extremely high success rate with an excellent chance of arrowing a Pope and Young bear. Whoever wins will be in great hands with Tom and Rob.”

The hunt will be hosted by Tom Nelson of American Archer, and Rob Nye from Rob Nye Wilderness Adventures (http://bowsite.com/robnye/). The first flight will go to Saskatoon and from there Tom and the winner will fly to Stony Rapids, Saskatchewan. To register or for complete details visit www.deaddownwind.com and click on the Register To Win graphic with Tom Nelson’s photo.

About Dead Down Wind:
Dead Down Wind is a premium supplier of quality scent prevention products designed to help outdoor enthusiasts become more successful in the field. Dead Down Wind revolutionized the scent elimination industry through the development of a bio-engineered process known as ESPTM (Enzyme Scent Protection). Through this process a strand of enzymes is created that targets human bacteria – the source of human odor. Without intervention your body produces bacteria that create human odor. Unlike cover sprays that can only attempt to mask these odors, or carbon clothing that only attempts to contain it., the enzymes in Dead Down Wind® actually PREVENT odor-causing bacteria from forming – allowing you to maintain a zero scent environment.

Mr. Nelson, In 2000 I fell 35' from a stand. I broke both legs and both hips. The doctor had to take my left leg below the knee. He said I may not walk again and sure would never climb a stand again. I went to rehab every day for a year and a half. From then I have taken several deer (from a stand ).Been to So. Dokota, Florida,Durango Mexico, and just returned from the Yucatan where I got my turkey world slam and a Brocket Deer.I use Dead Down Wind exclusively on deer of course ( Turkeys can't… Read more »

Dear Mr. Nelson I am a 66 year old wife of a wonderful man who has helped and support me through the past three years of various illnesses. In Nov, 2006, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery in Dec of 2007 and January, 2008, since then I have been cancer free after receiving radiation treatments after the surgeries. In October,2008, I was cleaning our boat before storing it for the winter, when I leaned over the side of the boat to put the bucket of water close to the ground when I lost my balance and dove… Read more »

Dear Mr.Nelson, Although I would love to win this hunt for myself, I can think of no one that I would rather give this hunt to then my father. As a husband of 43 years, and a father of nine, he has devoted much of his life to his family. When my father was in good health he taught his three sons the thrill of hunting whitetails in Pennsylvania. Sometime ago my father was dignosed with dibilatating disease called diabeties which has robbed him of his staminia and strength, And I thought that with your help we could give him… Read more »

Mr. Nelson I am a 58 year young man who has devoted my life raising my two boys alone. Teaching them about hunting and fishing in the great outdoors. Now its my time I took early retirement to enjoy my life but having raised my boys alone theres not left money left for retirement therefor I won't be able to afford a hunt like this for a long time. I would be honored to hunt with you.

I am now 52 years young and presently live in Alaska. I've heard somewhat about this guy named" Nelson ". I think he used to stomp around a place called River Park Farms. I have heard that he loved to fish at the old subdivision pond and hunt squirrels in the nearby woods. Also, I have heard that he was hired on at a place called Anderson Archery in Grand Ledge, Michigan were he became their "BEST SALESPERSON" His love for the outdoors is well understood. I myself loved that place called "River Park Farms". It also let me be… Read more »
