Contest Rules
You must be 16 years old or older to participate. Employees or relatives of Whitetail Authority or Heartland Bowhunter staff are not eligible to participate. USA Residents only. You must register at www.whitetailauthority.com between October 22, 2009 and December 5th 2009. The winner will be randomly picked from the list of registries. Whitetail Authority will provide airfare, lodging and food for the 2-3 days of filming/hunting.

My husband, Jay Slusher, lives and breathes hunting with our 3 children. He can make his own turkey call with his mouth. Jay became a father to my son who is terminally ill and only gets IV's for nutrition. He did this unselfishly. We have a total of 6 kids together and we struggle financially. In 2000 I fell 35' from a tree stand.It broke both legs and both hips. The doctor had to take my left leg below the knee. The doctors said I would never walk again but God said something else. After a year and a half of rehab every day I was walking. Now I am back to climbing stands and bowhunting again.
