BATTLE OF THE BOW:
This brand new reality television series taps the passion of bowhunters and the power of social media to create a fun and dynamic new show concept in the hunting genre. This past fall, online fans selected 10 two-person teams who shot video of their hunts and posted reports on a blog at www.wisconsinoutdoorsnetwork.org. Each episode of Battle of the Bow will highlight the ups and downs of every team’s hunting season. Through the use of web-based user feedback, sportsmen will vote for their favorite teams as the season progresses. The winners will be announced in the show’s final episode, and will take home cash, prizes, and the ultimate title of “Battle of the Bow Champions.” Beginning the week of December 28, watch Battle of the Bow Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m., Fridays at 6 a.m., and Sundays at 4:30 p.m. EST.

“This show taps into the raw and unpredictable nature of bowhunting,” said show producer Joey Brunner. “You can’t score hours in the stand, you can’t mount a deer that smelled you 40 yards downwind, and you can’t eat the dirt surrounding the arrow five feet from where the deer was standing. The contestants hunt for the thrill of that challenge and we depict the good, the bad, and the ugly.”
