The SureFire Mini Scout Light is the most compact SureFire WeaponLight available for use on a Picatinny rail. It is a compact version of the full-sized Scout Light currently being employed by the U.S. Marine Corps and special operations groups.
Its solid-state, recoil-immune LED generates 110 lumens of blinding white light—more than twice the amount of light required to overwhelm the night-adapted vision of an aggressor—and a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens creates a versatile beam with plenty of reach and enough sur¬round light for both longer-range and close-quarter applications. An internal microprocessor regulates the LED, efficiently managing battery power to provide up to 1.3 hours of tactical-level illumination on a single 123A lithium battery.
The M300A mounts securely to any Mil-Spec Picatinny rail in seconds via an integral thumbscrew clamp. Light activation is achieved by clicking the tailcap push¬button or, for fingertip control without altering your grip on the weapon, by depressing the included pressure-activated tape switch. Constructed of hard-anodized aerospace aluminum; tempered glass; and O-ring seals that keep out the elements, the ultra-compact Mini Scout Light was built to withstand the rigors of combat without weighing your weapon down.
At four inches in length and a weight of only 4.5 ounces (including battery and remote switch), the Mini Scout Light is SureFire’s most powerful, compact long gun WeaponLight to date.
