Hunter Education Classes Planned For Darby & Corvallis MT
MALTA, Mont. –-(Ammoland.com)- Hunter Education classes are planned for Darby and Corvallis in August. Interested students can register online now at fwp.mt.gov. Follow links to Education and Hunter Education.
The Darby class is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 9 through Friday, Aug. 13 from 6-9 p.m. each evening. Students and their parent or legal guardian must also attend a mandatory orientation night on Monday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. Orientation and all classes are held at the Darby Elementary School cafeteria, 209 School Drive.
In Corvallis, students must register online and then attend a mandatory orientation night on Monday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. Classes are Aug. 16-20 from 6-8:30 p.m. Orientation and classes are held in the Corvallis Grange Hall, 130 Dutch Hill Road.
Students must be at least 11 years old and attend all classes to be certified. Class sizes are limited to facility and instructor capacity.

All hunter education classes are free of charge. By state law, anyone born after January 1, 1985, must have completed the Hunter Education Course to buy a hunting license in Montana.
