New Training Academy, Anti-Firearm Citibank On Gun Talk
MANDEVILLE, LA –-(Ammoland.com)- Tom talks training, credit cards and ammo this Sunday on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk (R) Radio, the only nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
CrossBreed Holsters owner Mark Craighead is well-known for his SuperTuck holster, “the ugliest, most comfortable holster you’ll ever love”.
Now Craighead is entering into another side of the firearms world – training. Opened in September 2010, the CrossBreed Firearms Academy offers courses in a variety of subjects and all skill levels, including conceal carry, carbine, hand-to-hand knife defense and more. CFA courses are available for both group and private sessions, and some are even available as in-home training. More info can be found at www.crossbreedfirearmsacademy.com
A bank that refuses to do business with any company making or selling firearms for military use?
Sure looks that way, as Citibank cancelled a credit account of a company making scope mounts. The company, Warne Scope Mounts, had applied for and gotten credit with Home Depot for buying supplies (for work benches, etc.) from the national chain. Warne was informed the next day that the account had been rejected by Citibank — which actually handles the credit arrangements for Home Depot — because “the policy prohibits financing businesses that manufacture and/or sell firearms for military use.”
Rich Grassi, Editor of The Tactical Wire, (www.thetacticalwire.com), tracked down the story and will discuss all the details on Gun Talk this Sunday.
Zach Waterman with Nosler also stops by to discuss the Nosler factory, cool new promotions including a sizeable rebate and 2-for-1 ammunition, and the various firearms and ammunition Nosler offers, including over 150 different hand-loaded ammunitions that are part of the Nosler Custom line. Nosler has also redesigned their Shooter’s Pro Shop, www.shootersproshop.com, that features Nosler “2nds” – ammo that has cosmetic blemishes, sold at a discount.
