It was one of those, if I have enough parts laying around I can build another gun situations! So I ordered a Choate stock with extra Remington screws from MidwayUSA. During the telcon order I asked about getting a bipod mounting, screw tight piece. The answer was, "The stock comes with one." Well, I didn't argue – should have – and when the stock arrived after quick, pleasant, seemingly intelligent ordering it had a bipod stud running in the forend channel (3/8" European)but it was not the screw tight, knurled knob type.
