Too Much Freedom..?
Kennesaw, Georgia –-(Ammoland.com)- Is there such a thing as “too much freedom”?
Have you ever heard anyone say that?
I know I have especially from Republicans and Democrats.
Politicians can't ever seem to get enough. A tinker here. An amendment there. The end result is always the same — the shackles of government become heavier. More burdensome.
When it comes to your right to defend yourself and your family, the politicians in Washington and Atlanta have been chipping away for decades.
As a consequence, criminals are stronger. They know that the actions of statists in government empower them.
Our founding fathers knew this. Thomas Jefferson knew this:
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms…disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one.”
The tendency of politicians is not to constrain the government, but to constrain the people under the control of government. You and I have become subjects. Subjects of an establishment class hell bent on restricting your right to defend yourself and your family.
Politicians don't trust you. They think they can protect you better than you can protect yourself.
The good news is that you can do something about your freedom across the USA and Georgia Gun Owners are working hard right here in Georgia. By working together, you and I can remove the government from the gun business.
It won't happen unless you and I put pressure on our elected officials.
By demanding that our elected officials publicly support, cosponsor, and call for a recorded, up or down roll-call vote on the Georgia REAL Right-to-Carry Bill, liberty activists can separate the good guys from the bad guys.
You and I can see who supports liberty . . . and who supports statism.
If you haven't yet done so, please demand your legislators vote in favor of liberty.
With your help, you and I can hold politicians accountable who think there is such a thing as “too much freedom.”
Yours in liberty,Patrick Parsons
