Team ITI Shooter Morgan Allen Takes Home ESP Division Title At 2011 IDPA FL State Championship
SHACKLESFORD, VA –-(Ammoland.com)- Morgan Allen of Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) took home the title of ESP Division Champion, as well as the Most Accurate, with a score of 148.67 (38) at the 2011 IDPA FL State Championship, held March 11-13, 2011 in Pinellas Park, FL.
Although IDPA does not officially recognize High Overall, Allen was able to successfully clinch this title as well. Over 275 competitors, including some of the country’s top shooters, came out to compete in the Florida heat and humidity.
“The 2011 IDPA FL State Championship match team did a fantastic job assembling and running a collection of challenging stages that had more than one top shooter mulling over plans longer than usual for how to address each one,” commented Allen.
“That’s the mark of a great IDPA match: stages every shooter can accomplish, and in the same breath, ones that force every shooter to think about the stages and come up with their best plans. And then execute. Sounds simple, and it’s a lot easier when you have good tools to work with, including training like that offered at ITI.”
Allen will next be competing at the IDPA Carolina Cupheld in Oxford, NC from June 16-18, 2011.
