California –-(Ammoland.com)- GoHUNTn (www.gohuntn.com), “where hunters connect,” launched its first-ever spring gobbler week from Monday, May 2 through Monday, May 9 presented by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

“You can’t think of spring without thinking of gobblers, and you can’t think gobblers without thinking of the National Wild Turkey Federation,” said Ned Desmond, president of GoSportn, Inc., the parent company of GoHUNTn.

“We’re thrilled to partner with this great organization and pay homage to the wild turkey and all the hunters who are pursuing them this year.”

GoHUNTn and the NWTF will feature multiple contests throughout the week based on wild turkeys, with the winners receiving various prizes including hats and gift cards. GoHUNTn will promote these contests on its Facebook page, which has more than 53,000 fans. The person who contributes the most content on GoHUNTn.com for the week will win the grand prize and the title of Mr. or Ms. Spring Gobbler.

“In a very short time since its launch, GoHUNTn has really become a great resource for people looking for the best news in hunting,” said Brent Lawrence, Public Relations and Web Director for the National Wild Turkey Federation. “We’re excited to be partnering with them on their first-ever theme week and share the spring gobbler love across GoHUNTn and the NWTF’s communities through our websites and Facebook and Twitter followers.”

The National Wild Turkey Federation is the leader in upland wildlife habitat conservation in North America. A nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving the wild turkey and preserving our hunting heritage, the NWTF and its volunteers work closely with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies and other partners.

Through these dynamic partnerships, the NWTF and its members helped restore wild turkey populations throughout North America, spending more than $331 million to conserve nearly 16 million acres of habitat. Wild turkeys and hundreds of other species of upland wildlife, including quail, deer, grouse, pheasant and songbirds, benefit from this improved habitat.
