Most Decorated World Champion Duo Delivers a Different Kind of Bowhunting Experience in “Gold Tip’s Name the Game” New Series on Sportsman.
New Berlin, Wis. –-(Ammoland.com)- Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, welcomes the most decorated World Champion duo to the network with the launch of the brand-new series Gold Tip’s Name the Game with hosts and world archery champions Levi and Samantha Morgan.
The husband and wife duo are professional, competitive archers, as well as lifelong hunters, that take their skills to the outdoors for some unique, never-seen-before bowhunting. The new series begins Friday, June 29, at 10:30pm ET/PT as part of Sportsman Channel’s “Made in America” premiere week, which kicks off 575 hours of new content across 100 different series for the network’s Q3 lineup.
Gold Tip’s Name the Game takes viewers across America as Levi and Samantha—who together have 11 World Championships and 92 National Championships—hunt big game in a style and manner unmatched by bringing their competitive archery skills to the field to hunt everything from whitetail to antelope to mule deer—and from distances most don’t shoot. The show’s primary focus will be the hunts but viewers will get glimpses into their lives as professional archers as they compete in world and national archery competitions.

“What makes this show different is viewers will see us shoot from long distances, something 99% of hunters can’t do,” said Levi Morgan. “Many don’t approve of shooting at long distances but it’s something we practice and do routinely in our competitions so it naturally translates to the outdoors and hunting. And of course we pride ourselves on hunting ethically and safe. We are as good at 90 to 100 yards as we are at 30 and 40 yards. Nothing in hunting, especially with a bow, is perfection. But we are getting as close as you can.”
Fresh off his NFAA Indoor National Championship win, 10-time world-record holder Levi Morgan is looking forward to his summer. But despite being the most decorated archer in the world—including 8 World Championship titles and 60+ National Championships—it’s not the 2012 Olympic Games he is focusing on this summer but his new show. He notes that one day he would like to shoot for his country in the Olympics, something industry experts say would stand a strong chance of landing him gold.
“Guys I shoot against are competing this summer at the Olympics; it’s something I’d love to do one day, as it would be such an honor,” said Morgan. “But now I’m focused on competitions, hunting, the show, and my family. I’m only 25 years old and hopefully have many more years to compete…perhaps 2016.”
Gold Tip’s Name the Game and 21 other brand-new series are starting June 25 for Sportsman Channel’s exciting premiere week, “Made in America.” The network’s Q3 lineup includes 575 hours of new content, including 22 brand-new series and 70 returning series with all-new episodes, featuring the network’s battled-tested hunters, legendary anglers and top experts. The campaign, which bows June 25, is a multimillion dollar, multimedia effort that will garner in excess of 200 million impressions.
