Maryland –-(Ammoland.com)- The Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association is always on the lookout for interested members to serve as officers, on committees, and the Board of Directors.
If you have an interest in helping MSRPA execute our mission to serve all the gun owners in Maryland, please contact Jeff Andrews ( [email protected] ) or Wally Chance ( [email protected] ) on our nominating committee or Rich Kussman, President ( [email protected] ). Please let us know where your interests lie.
The officers and the executive committee (drawn from the Board of Directors) meet at least monthly to carry on the day-to-day business of the Association.
Board members meet 5 times a year and provide the overall direction to the Association.
Committees meetings depend on the committees, but seldom meet more than three times a year.
In addition, officers and Board members help at the MSRPA table at many of the gun shows in the region. This is where we generate membership, hold fund raising raffles, and provide general information to the gun owning public on the NRA and MSRPA programs.
If you want to become more active in the Association and have a voice in the running of your Association, please contact Jeff Andrews ( [email protected] ) or Wally Chance ( [email protected] ) on our nominating committee or Rich Kussman, President ( [email protected] ). Please let us know where your interests lie and how you think you can best serve the Association. Also please provide a short synopsis of you background (occupation, shooting interests, and contact information).
We look forward to hearing from you as we strive to keep new ideas and fresh approaches at the forefront of our programs.Rich Kussman President
The Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association (MSRPA) is the flagship Gun Rights organization in and for the State of Maryland. The Association offers both individual and club memberships. Support of the shooting disciplines and legislative activities is primarily through a systems of committees. All participants are volunteers.
In the face of a near tidal wave of citizen disarmament occurring in Maryland, the MSRPA has played a critical part in drawing the line and standing firm for Gun Rights. Without this resistance, things would have been much worse and been so much sooner. Now the objective is to continue to develop new activists with numerous individual skills who will help us bring Maryland into line with the rest of the states which have made strong gains in protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
