New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- I would like the members of our Society to know that Wendie Kuhn and Theresa Hubal have arranged a meeting of some of our women members with Assemblywoman Linda Stender in order to clarify our position on Bill A1216.

Sponsored by Assemblyman Linda Stender (D-22), A1216 would increase the crime of having a firearm or weapon on the grounds of an educational institution from a third to a second degree crime. Second degree crimes carry a prison sentence of five to ten years and could include a fine up to $150,000, with no opportunity for New Jersey’s “pre-trial intervention” leniency program, and very limited sentencing discretion by the judge.

We are looking for additional women members who would be interested in attending this meeting on Monday November 25th 2012.

I will not discourage any of our male members from “tagging along” (I will be one of them), but I would like to give the women an opportunity to present their unique perspective on RKBA.

If you would be interested in attending this meeting, please contact Wendie Kuhn at [email protected]. We would like to set this meeting up ASAP.

Thank you for your participation.

New Jersey , like New York , has no second ammendment rights , after all , they have subjects , not citizens .
