Bethesda, MD – -(Ammoland.com)- “‘Let he who has no sword sell his coat and buy one,’ advised Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Luke 22:36),” notes gun rights expert John M. Snyder.
“As we celebrate the Incarnation,” Snyder continued, “let us consider some particulars. The Jesus Christ whose birth from the womb of the Virgin Mary we celebrate at Christmas is the same God-Man Who told his apostles to arm themselves, and to sell their clothing in order to be able to arm themselves, Who voluntarily offered His life in sacrifice for mankind, Who rose from the dead, and Who lives eternally in glory.
“It is important especially to keep this in mind now and consider Our Lord’s words in the modern context of technological personal arms developments. Our nation faces demands for partial disarmament of its law-abiding citizens in the form of semiautomatic gun and ammunition control coming from wicked or insipid gun grabbers. These gun haters are politicizing the heinous multiple murders in Connecticut and elsewhere as a wedge platform from which to launch attacks on the individual Second Amendment civil right to keep and bear arms of tens of millions of law-abiding Americans.”
Snyder says, “It is important to keep a perspective on our civil rights. Whether attacks on these rights come from gun-grabbing monsters of the media, cracker-headed clergy or pathetic politicians, let us resolve to stand firm in support of our traditions against heinous attempts to undermine or even gradually eviscerate them.
“Let us realize that while the Hypocrite-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, may pose as a defender of children against gun owners, he tries to force Catholic and other religious entities to pay for abortion, or murder, of human fetuses.”GunRightsPolicies.org
