Washington, DC –-(Ammoland.com)- Madison Rising has come a long way. Two years ago, none of the members of Madison Rising even knew each other.

Yet, later this month, the band will be performing its #1 best-selling rendition of The Star Spangled Banner (http://www.starspangledbannerchallenge.com) at the 2012 Military Bowl on Thursday, December 27th at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC.

The game, presented by Northrop Grumman, will be televised nationally on ESPN for the fifth year in a row.

The Military Bowl seeks to generate broad support for the USO, positively impact the regional economy, honor the U.S. military and solidify the nation's capital as a leading college football destination. In 2011, the bowl donated $100,000 to the USO and provided more than 5,000 tickets to active-duty military personnel and their families.

“We're honored to be part of such a great event,” said Madison Rising lead singer, Dave Bray. ” Hopefully we can help make it even more memorable for the men and women who give so much of themselves to protect and serve our country.”

Madison Rising is on a mission to make great rock music and send a message that American culture is alive and well. Help support that mission with t-shirts, hats, CDs, posters and other great gifts available at our store at: http://shop.madisonrising.com/

    1. WOW! My father fought in World War II; I’m 51 and a patriot and use to be a long-hair; nice to see some patriotism like this; makes me proud to be bred and born here. God helps our Country and protect our 2nd Amendment!
