BELLEVUE, WA –-(Ammoland.com)- The Second Amendment Foundation announced today that Black Hills Ammunition joined the Second Amendment Foundation in 2013 as a Bronze Level Sponsor in the SAF Corporate Sponsorship program.
The support of Black Hills Ammunition will help the SAF in its efforts to win back firearms rights one lawsuit at a time.
The generous support of sponsors like Black Hills Ammunition allows the Second Amendment Foundation to take new steps forward in education and legal action that would not otherwise be possible. Black Hills Ammunition sponsorship demonstrates their support for the Second Amendment Foundation and SAF’s on-going efforts in defense of the right of law abiding persons to keep and bear arms.
“We welcome the support of Black Hills Ammunition for our mission to gain recognition for and restore firearms rights to all law abiding persons through our education and legal action programs. We are proud to consider Black Hills Ammunition a partner in our efforts,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb.
“The sponsorship of Black Hills Ammunition will allow the Second Amendment Foundation to more vigorously pursue the firearms rights of individuals through legal action and to educate the public about those rights.” Gottlieb added. “The majority of our support comes by way of small donations from our members and supporters, for which we are grateful. When SAF is fortunate enough to receive support on the scale which Black Hills Ammunition has provided it deserves special recognition.”
“Each SAF triumph over unconstitutional and unreasonable restrictions on firearms rights is a building block towards fully restoring firearms freedoms,” Gottlieb concluded.
The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation's oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 650,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control. In addition to the landmark McDonald v. Chicago Supreme Court Case, SAF has previously funded successful firearms-related suits against the cities of Los Angeles; New Haven, CT; New Orleans; Chicago and San Francisco on behalf of American gun owners, a lawsuit against the cities suing gun makers and numerous amicus briefs holding the Second Amendment as an individual right.
