Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)-
One hundred and thirty-nine pages of gun and ammunition control measures have now passed the Connecticut General Assembly–the senate passed the measures at 6:30 p.m. on April 3 and the house passed them at 2:26 a.m. on April 4.

These measures broaden the states “assault weapons” ban by adding 100 new firearms to the ban.

They also contain “eligibility rules” for buying ammunition, ban private sales by requiring a background check for every sale or gun transfer, and ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

The Brady Campaign To Prevent Gun Violence Praised the measures, saying: “[Now] Connecticut will join states including California, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts in having the country’s strongest gun laws.”

The Brady Campaign has over looked the fact they had already ranked Conn. as having the 5th strictest gun laws in the country before these new measures were even passed.

Although the politicians supporting these new gun and ammunition control measures said they did so because of the heinous crime at Sandy Hook Elementary, it should be noted that none of the new legislation will prevent another Sandy Hook-type shooting from taking place.

Instead, these are simply new hurdles law-abiding citizens will have to clear to get the firearms they need to protect themselves and their families.

I have come to the conclusion that the ‘prison-for-profit’ industry must be a huge backer of this type of backroom legislation because who better to benefit from it than them? They better start breaking ground on some new facilities cause I get the feeling most folks are going to give the middle finger, or the trigger finger.

Vote these idiots out under the cover of darkness. Personally I would not obey any of these laws. They go against the constitution and are illegal. It seems like the will of the people is not paid attention to by politicians anymore, so I certainly would not obey any of these laws. Like Obama they think they can do anything they want.

Just stand firm and get everything you can. Contacting congress and senate by email is a must. Look up the meaning of assault weapon. If it claims to have to be an automatic weapon, then nothing we have qualifies as an assault weapon and will make the whole assault weapons ban null and void. If so, wait until the exact moment to spring it on them where it will do them the most harm.

All those people who died at the hands of murderers have died in vain. RIP, because your survivors have stripped away any hope of your siblings and offspring of ever defending themselves. Great leading by IGNORANT leaders who used your deaths to gain political clout with the Socialist Party whose intent is to destroy Americas strength and independence..

The tragedy is that this won’t save a single life. It’s just one more case of over reaching big brother government increasing control.
Gun Control. The key word is Control, not Gun!

No one state needs to leave the Union over this. Tar and feathers along with deportation worked wonders back in 1776. Canada likes our traitors to the Constitution.
